I'm so happy to see an update on Charlie. I was wondering about him. His such a gorgeous 🐕. I'm thrilled his getting a new lease on life. He deserves it.

I've noticed that oftentimes the people who apply for and are lucky enough to adopt Viktor's cat/dog rescues already have another cat/dog that looks like it could be their sister or brother! For instance, when Remy went home the other day, the other cat looked just like him! People who "are owned" by fluffy white dogs seem to want MORE fluffy white dogs! So, if there's somebody watching this who already has a dog that looks like Charley and wants another one, I say, "GO FOR IT! (and good luck)!" Charley needs a family and you would be lucky to get him! :-)

Charlie is such a “handsome” dog. His markings are beautiful . I don’t know why black dogs are difficult to home? I have 2 rescue dogs, one black Labrador (funny enough called Charlie too) and one black huntaway cross. They are both beautiful boys and incredibly loving and gentle. I hope he finds his perfect home !

He is such a beautiful dog. I wish I could take him, but I have 6 already. Very costly for them. They are all fixed so will not be causing population problems. They are all wonderful dogs. They range from17 yrs. old to 6 months.

If there is anyone out there suffering from depression, seriously think of adopting Charley. It does help to have a dog or even a cat. He will definitely put a smile back on your face.

One of the best dogs that I had was a Black Lab and Chow! She was my sweetheart and very smart, She had long black hair. I don't get the superstitious bias that people have for certain animals!

Charlie isn't a "black" dog - he is white, black, and brown in a beautiful natural pattern. And it's as foolish to judge an animal by the color of their fur as it is to judge a human being by the color of their skin. Every individual creature on Earth should be judged on their own merits, because every one is different. And ALL creatures deserve love!

What a BIG smile he has! Even though his back left paw is slightly off the ground in this video, I'm sure after complete healing inside it will drop back down. BUT! You can tell by that huge smile and wagging tail that he is very happy indeed!! :-) Once again, another success story from Viktor and Valencia sur! You folks are incredible!!!

Dear Viktor, Thank you for bringing Charlie's story back up to our attention....poor baby 2 yrs. He is waiting. One can see he is a sweet good dog...but one thing missing behind his beautiful face...he's missing his ' one special person ', missing a family, he'd be great with children, he has so much love to give....just missing his special person. Makes me sad. I just rescued a little dog who was neglected after her owner died, and I have my Ozzie, who I rescued from kill shelter 4 yrs ago. If I could afford another dog, I would take Charlie...but you have to have the money to give them the care they might need. I would not be able to take it if I couldn't help one of my dogs because of financial situation. So I have gotten them Pet Insurance, just in case. Viktor, I'm sure Charlie will get his own home very soon. If not, do you adopt dogs to US?.... probably not, it's just too far away. People think I'm crazy for having 2 dogs...but when I was married and we both worked, we had 4 dogs, all rescued. I worked evenings and my ex-husband worked days so they would not be alone. Now, it's just me and my 2 little rescue babies. I am working a few days, so thought 2 dogs would be better because they are company for eachother when I am not home. Thank you for taking such good care of 🌻 ' Smiling Charlie '. 🌻

OMG....I wish that I lived closer to Spain, I would scoop up that handsome boy in a minute. He looks like a Shepard mixed husky. Truly, a handsome boy!!! His smiles and tail wags are PRICELESS!!!! I am in love with him!!!
