@@carbine090909 I’m pretty sure the dog would have gotten scared by his touch. After all the woman had went in the woods by herself to get her, so the dog probably doesn’t trust anybody else in the boat.
Yep! Nice! They got there, before the baby seal hunters, or illegal whale bandits 🏴☠️, come to think of it 🤔 ? 😶 *animals - really got the "deck stacked" against them! Every victory ✌ should be celebrated. Amen for Marsha ♡
You could feel her anxiety by just looking at her. And - her giant sweet heart ❤ - once she calmed down. She does have the most awesome color of eyes. very nice people - very good job!
Precious angel Marsha... may your new life be filled with kindness, gentle affection, infinite joy & pure, perfect, unconditional love forever... & ever... & ever.💕🙏💕
You're right about that! It is amazing to see people like this and then think about the various crooks, conspirators, thugs, robbers and insane politicians in this world. Humanity covers a very wide range of compassion.
Than be that person. Don't be a layabout and let good people find them, it's like saying "god is a meanie" when he only stopped Nimrod from summoning demons. Than you see that god was trying to prevent something. Post time you'd realize you are Nimrod
@J's Fun Adventures But poster should do it too. If he can't contribute to society. He can't be that person but he can that person to say "we need more people like this". Like what's the point of saying that? Just do it yourself.
Being from Louisiana, probably a Catahoula Leopard Dog or mix. I have a rescued Catahoula mix. They are not for everyone but well worth it if you have the time, space and energy. The rescuer is right. No way can a catahoula be left alone for 10 hours. They need companionship and an incredible amount of exercise
We can never know the trauma that she went through alone on that island, or how she got there, but a dog's ability to trust and forgive is immeasurable. They are so much better than we are in every way. Thank you so much for saving her. ❤️
Some people can be so cruel….!!! Miss treating animals….!!! Some people don’t realize how precious they are….!!! Thank you for saving this beautiful baby 💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕
No-one mistreated this dog as far as we van tell from this video. The woman speaking said this was after a hurricane and the the dog was washed up on the shore of the island. No cruelty that is just what happens with hurricanes. But yes people are sometimes cruel, just not in this case.
Isn't it beautiful how you can actually see the happiness in this sweet dog's eyes and body language later in the video? And so smart. She knew she was being rescued.
Anyone who doesn't believe a dog can smile NEEDS to watch this video. Especially after seeing that look of despair on her face initially. Marsha's expression in her loving foster home was pure joy!
We ended up rescuing my father in law's dog when he went into the hospital (he didn't make it out). The neighbor had a fit that we were taking the dog, but she was so obese she couldn't even walk, and struggled to breath. She was nearly 200lbs and a romanian German Shepherd. She did great on our farm and we were able to re-home her with a wonderful family with kids who adore her. I did a bit of a story on it a few months ago :)
The couple, Chris & Claudia are my friends! They are wonderful people who truly were concerned for the dog's welfare. I'm glad they were the ones who found her and saw this whole thing through!
@@jaysky2000 I'm gonna say that she probably was based on a couple of things. 1. they usually get adopted pretty quick after their story is featured. 2. Her breed looks to be a Catahoula Leopard Dog. They are rare breed. Meaning theirs high demand. FYI: there is usually a link in these videos descriptions to their adoption info or rescuers and shelter.
Found myself smiling watching this vid. I love a happy ending. The happiest ending will be her forever home. God bless those who helped rescue this baby. She’s beautiful!
My neighbours dog Alice has days to live, and I've known Alice since she arrived next door as a puppy 14 years ago; and I fell in love with her. I'm in tears watching this, and I'm nearly Sixty. Thankfully there are people who actually care for other creatures. I'm considering leaving a large proportion of my estate in my will to care for these lost souls.
You see the same look in the eyes of a lot of dogs when they are first rescued. It's just this heart wrenching combination of fear, sadness, confusion, and exhaustion. The change that happens when they've been fostered or adopted is like the difference between night and day. You can see the relief, joy, happiness, and sense of security they feel.
Damn good guess! I was just thinking the same thing. She has to be, Or she at least has part of the breed in her because the only thing I don’t see (that’s predominant of the breed) is her jowls are a bit smaller. But other than that, There’s too many similarities between the two to just say it’s a coincidence! She’s a pretty girl, regardless!
Thank goodness for godly people like this that will take their time to help an animal , it just shows you there are still good people out here. thank you Lord for every one of them
I always have a hunch that animals have a typical sense on the tone of voice she could dictate that you are her rescuer and would be safe in your hands. Thanks so much for the rescue.
What a beautiful, special dog Marsha is. So glad you spotted her, got her, & placed her in a perfect foster environment where her dog-soul can grow and develop. Someone's going to take her home forever and be a lucky companion to this precious doggo. This is why I want to foster animals. Not just yet--not in the right space--but in the next year or two. My inner "Cat Lady" will blossom and flourish and, I hope, so will some kitties!
I don't have a dog right now, but I love seeing stories of dogs plucked from despair, then see them bloom into living a life full of health, happiness, and being so thoroughly loved. I love each and every one of you dedicated animal rescuers for what you do..
If the storm pushed her there, no wonder she was terrified. That’s a lot to go through. Poor sweetie! Here’s hoping her special home comes forward soon. 💕
It's very possible that her special home already came forward. :) If you go into the description, there's a link to adopt Marsha. Well, if you click on that link, it'll say that the page is no longer available. Her info is no longer on the site. It's highly likely that it was taken down because she's been adopted. :) Just wanted to give that update!
@@vikkisims6364 Hooray! I do love a happy ending!! Thank you. I am having a bit of a snarl-growl kind of day over some incomplete septic work, so your cheery update gives me a happy tail wag! Thanks!
Thank you for rescuing sweet Marsha. She must have been so scared all alone on that islsnd. I wonder if someone intentionally left her there or she was carried there by the current. It is so wonderful to see the actions of good people in this world caring for animals.
@@hey_its_travis Thank you, Travis. I did wonder if currents carried this sweet dog to that island. It is good to let people know how she could have been carried there after a storm and not intentionally left there. Let's hope it was not intentional.
In so many Dodo videos, the amazing recuperative power of dogs is so inspirational. You see them heal with love and kindness over a period of weeks and months. It is beautiful to watch.
I love how the fear you see in those beautiful eyes is entirely gone by the end of this. When she is being snuggled on the boat, you can see her energy just change….thank you all ❤️❤️
I cried through this entire story!! I was at the edge of my seat until she had her in her arms and was running out of the bush! Hats off to her rescuer, she knew it was now or never and took a huge risk just picking her up! YOU GO GIIIIRRRRRLLL!!! The thought of this dog being completely alone on this island gives me chills! Dogs are pack animals, they need to interact with other beings, she must have felt so lonely and scared. I'm so incredibly happy she was found and is safe, best ending ever!!!
