Ironic. I just posted about this as a first time listener. The topic of this video is intriguing and the story compelling, but the unreal amount of pauses combined with the slowest speech in the world, constantly and not just every now and then, just does not keep my attention. I stop listening to the story and instead cue in to his speech patterns. It's like my monkey brain is trying to figure out if there's something wrong with him and I'm trying to sniff out the bad. Reminds me of a group of house cats deciding to beat the crap out of the one that just had a seizure. His speech pattern is wrong and I either pay attention or completely tune it out. Anyway. Not meant to be mean. I've suffered head trauma and I know how your thinking can be compromised. It's frustrating. But it's 2024. Attention spans are shorter than ever.
