Another great episode. I love the wholesome story of these guys coming together over a hockey jersey in a grocery store in Beachwood Canyon. I didn't think anything happening in Beachwood could be wholesome. I have so much music to look up now including this band. All these stories and connections are cosmically coincidental from the racing to the CSI roles to the forming of Dogstar as though they were divined into existence. Thank you for this.

According to the sound engineer. Although he was a superfan and wanted the perfect mix Lars wanted his drums louder than the bass in the mix so that's why the bass is barely heard. Later at some award party that producer was invited and Lars questioned him about the lack of bass on that album.

I like when artists explain their lyrics. Brett Domrose writes well, poetically.He’s the least spoken and I was curious if he speaks the way he arranges lyrics. I enjoy listening to Rob’s storytelling! They are phenomenal instrumentalists and their sound wonderfully fills up an arena .

Tony Hawk deserves more credit imo for what he’s done for skateboarding. As the world’s best skater he basically became the ambassador for skating and broke the mold of how skaters were perceived. Not just destructive rebels, but athletes. If it wasn’t for Tony Hawk I sincerely don’t believe skating would be an Olympic sport nor would we have public skateparks. There was no such thing when I was a child
