Great to see you back Dave 👍. I sincerely hope that walking staff is going to be put to some use and you get your arse back out on the long distance trails 😉. I was about suggest that you bind your upper axe shaft with paracord rather than faff on with leather, then you moved on to the staff and how you used it on that - so I assume you probably considered it for the axe? I retired 5 years ago at 50 and could potter professionally nowadays according to the wife 😁. Keep 'em coming!! ATB.
