They probably changed the algo up to reward the people who accept every order and those who are trying to manipulate it the low-paying long mileage ones. I'll need to experiment to see if that's the case out here too.
Its not, im getting more n better orders not having 100% acceptance rate here in michigan. Also making more money by order now than by time. Very overcrowded with dashers here now, as well as out of state people
When i was doordashing heavy i would get so many $3-5 orders for 8-10 miles so my acceptance rate is like 25%. Still would be making good money though. My best hour was from the winter a couple years ago and I made $120 that hour. Was lucky to stay confined to about a 1 mile radius with all the orders i got that hour. Keep it up though my man definitely some great content!
Yeah I use to be the guy who kept declining shitty orders and had a 37 % ar and I wasn’t getting no good orders but when i got my shit up to 50% I started noticing a difference but then when I got to 70% I’m up here getting 12+ 10+ 11 dollar orders and quad orders and some good ass ad on orders! Yes I know y’all don’t want to take them shit orders because trust me we don’t but you won’t be disappointed at the 70% trust me!
Just reached 70% today and that last order that got me there was 15 bucks for 3 miles ( I’m on ebike ) I can’t wait to dash tomorrow and see what the results are
@mascottie if they give me a code..I text immediately. Call. If it's an apartment with that A-Z building shit...they need to tell where they are at. Or I'll hit a timer on the app and leave it at leasing.
How the hell do I raise my acceptance rate when they send me 80% garbage offers? I’m talking $4 for 12 miles, $9 for 17 miles, $12 for 24 miles. All of which are real offers I get all the time. I go through 2 dozen worthless offers before I finally get one that’s good. And no I’m not extremely picky.
some times it really be like that… as of lately i haven’t even been dashing much but i’m also in a good market. so i don’t get to experience the bad quality as much
I was TD last month, had decent offers. All a sudden, I started getting a ton of trash like just like you. Dropped from 93 to 50 just in two weeks FT 32-40hrs/wk.
Do earn/time I'm in Frederick MD it's 17/hr I did about 7 hrs total made 199 + a hundred dollar cash tip the beginning was no tip high mileage like 12 miles $17 gotten better high tips low base rate. I hate Rockville cuz of all those high-rise apartments n people don't wanna come down, I like my area people are nice n respectful they usually come get their order
Yo to get to a high acceptance rate did you accept bad orders or your area is that good there are barely bad orders? Cause damn I’m getting rekt with bad orders like 5 going 8 miles or more 💀 At this point I’m never reaching 50% acceptance rate lol.
last month was hell for me. end of the month i just accepted literally everything besides the SUPER bad orders. but my first day dashing this month was a sunday. i accepted 20/23 orders and managed to get up to an %80 ar. everything’s been good since. but the area i live in is also really good when it’s good…
High acceptance means more deliveries completed for the customer base. Its also being reliable. These are traits they look for. Of course the driver should be prioritized for better offers. Let losers play the fast cash games as they want. You figured it it out! Good consistent service does pay off. Js
It doesn’t pay off. You may get some better orders, but that doesn’t make up for all the trash orders you have to take to keep your acceptance rate up. All that wear and tear on your vehicle is not worth it.
@@outoftheashes_ For me, the order always has to be at least $2 per mile for it to be worth it. But I only do this part time. For those who do it full time, they probably can’t afford to be as picky.
Hey man i've been doing doordash a few months now- since october and ive got about 300 lifetime deliveries. Before they did the whole lowering base pay and the switch to the status program i was a cherrypicker like most other people. I've been contemplating biting the bullet and just doing earn by time til i raise my AR from 5% to at LEAST 70. Do you think its worth it?
from the time that i made this exact video to now (atleast for my market) i definitely believe having top dasher/ above 70 ar means something… right now i’m right at 50% without td and i barely get any orders. only weekends. so priority in slower times gotta be real. MAJORITY of my shifts i’ve been taking uber eats orders
I bought a new car this past year and started door dashing right after. It would’ve been so hard to dash in my old car. I get 33 plus mpg. I’ve put 10,000 miles in my car. If I wasn’t door dashing I would never go anywhere so my miles would be under 1,000.
that’s lit! weekends usually though. i hate rockville. some local dashers told me rockville & fredrick be really good. i just know gburg to well though. it’s hit or miss… good days be good. bad days suck ass for example today was ass for me. but usually mondays be good… stay away from the montgomery village side potomac side is always love
@@DegenKam Gaithersburg I try to stay away from during the weekdays. Rockville is pretty steady in the week. The acceptance rate makes a huge difference. Shop and deliver orders are gold on weekends. Had 3 straight at ALDI by Montgomery Village. Stay away from Germantown lol. Also, what all did it take and how long to get the catering orders?
@AsapxTr3Tre they emailed me when the program first came out. had to buy a bag/ submit a picture of it. id just buy one from amazon or walmart it’s way cheaper than the doordash branded one. just hit up support and ask them about joining the catering program
Hi.. buddy I watch your blog regularly I appreciate you and your hard work.. by the way I'm shehzad from Pakistan I'm so much interested to visit your country.. ❤
I'm in Dayton OH. My market is just like yours. It is totally market dependent. I see my highest paying orders when my AR is low and that is just coincidence. Leads me to believe AR doesn't matter in my market because the majority of customers don't tip or not at all.
@@MsSANDRA1024 I'm in Seattle too. And was seeing pretty good , consistent orders until I updated the app. Now they barely send me anything. Also, one day my AR dropped 10% out of nowhere. When I called em they couldn't help me. I'm about ready to quit.
i get that. majority of 2024 i’ve had a lower ar and gotten a few good orders while multi apping. but in my market doordash is only good with topdasher & high ar
Enjoyed the video a lot but bro you say “gas” to a cringe level, not trying to put you down whatsoever, just some constructive criticism to pay attention to what you are saying more, otherwise I look forward to watching your future videos
