if you would have listened and watched carefully you would have realized that he switched kits in between beats. Also it is more than likely not a simple sample pack but something like ABBEY ROAD | 60s DRUMMER or Addictive Drums.
Greedhot1 I couldn't agree with you more. I've been having a bad case of creative block with my music lately; man, I would love to work with musical comrades such as these...just watching this provided me with some much needed inspiration.
Incredible!! If you can play, try jamming along with them. The vibes are so good that you can get that connection with these musicians, even through a video.
All praises to The Most High for this!!! Dilla has inspired some of the most amazing musicians in on the planet!! "dont sell yourself to fall in love........" Dilla changed the way I listen to and perform music.. RIP Dilla🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
The fact that everyone one in there was singing the songs! Even the basslines!!! So amazing! Love it🙏🏽 RIP J Dilla. It's my destiny to keep him alive and I'm a young artist that does new age hip-hop. Much love to all the Dilla heads! WLJD We Love JayDee
Dilla's music has that effect. You can feel the Soul and emotion within the beats which makes you actually want to play the music and thrive on the feelings even more. Not saying J.Dilla is the GOAT producer but I can't think of many other beat makers I could say that about. So that's a testament to his legacy
I wish I could arrange something like this. I hope I can make the greatest sounding tribute to Dilla one day! peace to all who listen to Dilla and everyone who enjoyed this. This was a magical for one hour. R.I.P James Yancey

Glad I found this. When the melody for Fall In Love started playing at 8:44, I just knew I had to let every track in the session play through my headphones whilst I do whatever it is I do. Wonderful.
