No matter what anyone criticised about your Spanish, when people can switch between two languages like you do that's very impressive and already says so much about your skills and comfort in the language
People criticize her Spanish? Why?! It’s my native language, I’m literally from Mexico, and I think her Spanish sounds fine! She has an American accent when speaking in Spanish - but I have a Mexican accent when I’m speaking in English… That is to be expected with basically EVERYONE who speaks in a language other than their native one. I Mean, it’s kinda hard to train out of yourself and usually isn’t worth all of the effort (unless it’s so severe that you can’t be understood). I swear-salty people will latch onto anything, in order to be mean/complain about…🙄🤷♀️
i can switch between dutch , german , english and polish. currently studying spanish/portugesee. people should not criticize others for that when they can barely speak 2 languages
That’s so real, I think learning more than one language is so amazing and important!!!!! But as a bilingual girly like Ana I can say that sometimes the switching happens because I don’t know or am blaming on a particular word or turn of phrase 😅😅
@@glorygloryholeallelujah I'm surprised that you hear a gringa accent in Ana's Spanish. My gringo ear can't detect it, but I would think her Spanish would be identical to her mother's (or so close that it would pass as native Mexican). Maybe it is because both parents aren't Spanish speakers.
@@xano2921it's the plural. The plural is generally in the masculine if it's about a group of people where it's easily assumed there's at least one guy. And with latinos you absolutely have about half the population be guys.
Igual! Amo las frases y expresiones Mexicanas. Otra tipica es: "Traeme la ch¡ngadera esa." La que dice mi Mamá que más me hace reir es: "Estás pero bien operada del fundillo!" 🤣 Y lo dice cuando básicamente estoy mal informada. ❤
This is the best! A wonderfully hilarious and irreverent reflection of a latin mother daughter relationship. I have similar interactions with my kids. Treasured memories for sure. Thank you for sharing
Adorable!! Hug your Mom for me! Our Mother passed in 1992 at the age of 42 and I miss her every single day. I have since outlived her by 3 years and a few months... and I live my life for her now. 💚
Tu mamá tiene una forma muy única de hablar, muy suyo y tu español tiene mucho de eso. Ambas muy lindas y tu mami parece un ángel de charlie de los años 70's.
