Honestly Isaac it looks really good with those structures taken down. I think you and Jaylena could build something that is 100% safer and looks a million percent better then what the previous owner built. That is if you chose to do so. The lights look great you friend Kale seems like a good guy. He kinda reminds me of your step pop JD in a way. Nice that he's willing to teach you some house electric stuff .

The lift recliner at our home is what I slept in for 6 weeks after breaking 6 vertebrae. I couldn’t use my muscles to sit up. It’s a great chair to have, so we bought two of them! We also bought two beds with auto lift! I know how you miss the family! Thanks Kale for helping Isaac! The lights look amazing!😊❤
I hope you have time to paint your garage and fix the soffits. It will really improve your outside appearance. I’m 67 and just gave my cedar siding a good cleaning and changed my color. I love how it looks and stained all my decks, back and front and both picnic tables. Really makes a big difference. Hope your inspection goes well… I’m sure you heard the old saying, absents makes the heart grow fonder! ❤ I wish the best for you three, your a family!

Then I got a job and that cured all my quietness issues. 😅 Of course my job was in the teaching field where I had tons of children all day every day. Your correct spider nests , invest in home defense in a 1 gallon container kills all bugs . I spray around the perimeter and every where, yes I’m a wuss when it comes to spiders. But I like snakes 😆
Its so nice that Dale can come and help you. I bought a recliner 4-5 years ago for me and my now 90 yo mother. I wish one of them was a lift recliner. Anyone over 60 should buy a lift recliner. Think about how long the recliner will last and the your age and your guests ages.

Lighting is always good. The more lights the better. Motion lights are great! We have solar motion lights everywhere. I love it just walk by they kick on

Back in the day I had a friend that wired my home for a washer and dryer and saved me a ton of money. I had another friend that helped me put in a drain for the washer and connected it to the sewer line under the house. Those are the kind of friends you want to go help out with their projects.
