Nice - keep it up Gil! If you did this routine on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays it leaves you with Cardio on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Weekends will be deserved rest of course. You’ll soon be rich if you continue to do 10 pushups for $5 from the viewers! $$$
That's awesome, Gil! It's really showing! I notice it more and more. On the last exercise, do them without swinging your arms back. It will be harder, so you might want to do a little less weight. But you'll feel it in the biceps and they will grow fast at first. 3 sets of each of those exercises would be perfect. They don't all have to be on the same day. Keep it up! Awesome job! I did weights for 19 straight years. I quit 20 years ago. Running (mountains) became more important, so I needed to be lighter.
Gill… when you’re doing chest presses… before you start set both weights on your knees then roll back on your back and use your knees to help you get the weights near your chest. Then start your presses. It’s all about form … if you don’t have right form you will pull a muscle and injure yourself. Don’t lift more weight than you can without proper form.
Do more work out Gil I’m trying to learn and want to try it. Maybe record yourself and your workouts at the gym? I’m new to this. Seems like you know what you’re doing
I typically do 2 sets of like 12 reps. And 3 different exercises. 30 mins total of vigorous dumbells, 2 times a week is all I need. Along with watching my food intake and regular bike riding or other physical things I like doing
You need to squeeze both your legs together tight and try to make the back of your knees high so you get a deep workout where you feel a pop in your chest you know your doing a good pushup
