She says " 'Id rather be famous instead,' I let all that get to my head. I don't care, I paint the town red." When she says I'd rather be famous instead she is quoting her past self and reflects by saying, man I let all that get to my head. But she doesn't care about dwelling on her past mistakes or on what anyone has to say about it she just cares about the art because as we can see from this performance it's what makes her feel the most free. I don't know her and I'm not obsessed with her or anything, but as a fellow artist I can recognize another artist breaking down her own walls and not caring how people interpret it because she knows what she's doing. And I'm not saying everything she has done is right and she should be looked up to because frankly I don't know and she most likely is hanging around dark forces but the sense I get is that she ain't scared and she just wants to play their own game her own way.
