One thing I like about Doja is that she understands that it’s not her job to be likable. That it’s her job to be herself and the right people will gravitate. I love how she makes music that her loyal fans will enjoy, does her thing and doesn’t try to please everybody.

one thing that i will always LOVE about Doja is how respectfully she is to herself. (or thats just what i think) my favorite artist are her and tyler the creator and just like how he had that drive to make his art. rather it was weird or not, he did it and thats what doja is doing now. shes really finding herself and growing even though she is in deep shit right now.

She is literally so professional, well spoken like not alot of umms but steady, thought out and careful ideas that she wants to get across without letting any emotions control her message. To think we all thought we went crazy on the internet she always presents herself like this. I couldn't do it. It's hard to stick to one point you want to make across without getting side track of other ideas when trying to convey your message
This woman put so much careful thought into her art. Every detail contains meaning, and that's unique from everyone else's obsession with conventional beauty standards and the fetishization of women. Breaking away from the status quo , esp in such a toxic industry, takes an insane amount of guts. Much respect to Doja.

Listening to Doja explain her work does really show her artistic perspective and just explains the events from the past few days, overall she really is an artist and doesn't play around with her artwork.

the melody of this particular track takes me back to 2014. for me, 'attention' seems like an ascension of 'so high' alongside the unreleased 'pink tsunami' and 'cannibal.' 💜 this new era most certainly feels more authentic, specifically in the sense of what originally hooked me into her discography.
She's doing her n' all, but somehow it's also helping me too. I need to become who I am, but I also put other people on a pedestal as if I'm not as important. Seeing Doja create such a big contrast between persona and herself, being blunt, is cool to see. I hope that it changes how we see celebrities a little. I'll be honest though, while I don't agree with shooting down individual fans in a personal manner, I highly respect the process of what she's doing.

I relate to her so much now, such an inspiration and why I say that because even though I am not a ‘ known’ celebrity like her, I am the celebrity of my own life (life is such a movie) being different, feeling different than others makes me feel alone but people like her inspires me to take my own lead and shape my reality.

I hope this doesn't come out the wrong way because I get that she is her own artist and that she has her own vision for herself but I really like how she is pushing the envelope and the only person in the music industry that used to do that and still does it even to this day would be Lady Gaga. Even her manager said the same thing. They have a lot of similarities in terms of pushing the boundaries in the music industry, with visuals, performances and music videos. Now I'm not saying that they're completely the same because that's not what I'm getting at at all because I get it, they're their own artists and they cannot be compared but I've just noticed that her vision is so strong as an artist. Nobody else is doing it how she's doing it nowadays. The levels of attention to details. The dedication to her own craft is unreal.

She’s such an ARTIST omg. The depth of thought that went into everything just wow. This is the point where expression and art intersect and this is exactly why she’s as phenomenal as she is. Organic. Authentic. People like her, Nicki, SZA, even Ice. You can see it. You can see where their art and their expression intersect. If you don’t write your own music, your own lyrics, produce your own music videos, WHAT ARE YOU?. Just a face for some rich person who wants to make money off of you and our attention on you. But these women? They are actual ARTISTS.

I adore this artist, plain and simple! Numerous self-proclaimed fans seem to believe they hold the reins to these creative individuals. Frankly, I've never comprehended that. Genuine admirers simply don't behave in that manner. Fans appreciate artists for their artistic output, and when individuals claiming to be fans start dictating these artists' lives, it's time to take a stand, just as Doja did. Nevertheless, I hold immense admiration for any artist, regardless of who they are, who possesses the bravery and mental resilience to reject the incessant stalkers disguising themselves as fans. Doja's decision will ultimately pave the way for her continued growth and artistic endurance. It's disheartening to acknowledge that many artists in the past have succumbed to the pressure of relentless fans' attacks and criticism. People's behavior can truly be baffling. Fortunately, Doja cut ties with these toxic influences before they could harm her spirit. I've followed artists from the 1960s to the present, and this is the first time my connection to one has run this deep. In my humble opinion, Doja is an incredibly gifted individual with seemingly boundless potential. I would wager any sum of money that a significant portion of those so-called fans who abandoned her still listen to her music and follow her work to this very day. In the end, great music is akin to exquisite cuisine. Once you've savored something as delightful as what Doja creates, it's challenging to break free from that addiction.
Little do you know you are carrying the torch for so many things that have been pushed to the wayside of actual creativity.
