For anyone wondering, to unlock "Candy Heartz": 1. Listen to the entirety of "Candy Hearts", the normal song. Take note of the song length 2. Once it's done, play it again. If the track says it has less length than it did before, then you're on the right track. It will sound normal at first, but it gets creepy very soon. 3. Close and reopen the music player to see that "Candy Hearts" is back to normal and "Candy Heartz" is now there next to it
This music does not play in any part of the game. Everyone thinks that this music is the main menu music of the project called "Project Libitina", which is expected to be released soon
Yeah. Just like 5 years ago, where it was also expected to be released "soon"... but it might even end up like Bendy and be much much better (I don't mean to say that I don't love DDLC, which I do!). Let's just wait another 5 years and see what happens.
@@redo3073 If we would really eventually get it, I could wait 50 years. I once had a phase where I was really into that lore, and I still remember the most important parts... thanks, MatPat.
@@asgdfhomjuzjntbz123 We must not lose hope that it can happen soon, as much as this game that boomed a few years ago, the motivation to get it out may bear fruit, and it may be whenever.
Ok, I must admit that when I saw this video, I thought it was fake. I'm just used to people being able to do a lot with their editing skills. It's just because I'm a big fan of DDLC and I have never heard about "Candy Heartz" before. But I was wrong. Yesterday, after watching this video, I saw the comments and wanted to check if it was true, so I went to DDLC+ and listened to the entire "Candy Hearts". However, when I refreshed it and it didn't do anything, I was convinced that it was fake. But today when I was playing Doki Doki Literature Club Plus I was listening to "My Song, Your Note (Piano)" because I liked it so much and then when the music ended "Candy Hearts" played but after a few seconds it started sounding completely different than usual. Darker. And that's when I realized it was the same version I heard in the video, I was shocked. The music sounded like that all the time - colorful for a few seconds and dark the rest of the time, so I thought I would never get the original "Candy Hearts" back. But when I left the music list and entered it back, it turned out that there was new music called "Candy Heartz". I'm really surprised that it turned out to be true, but surprised in a good way. I think this is a very interesting easter egg.
