Dokken at Loud Park 16 - Dream Warriors - Live in Japan (Saitama Super Arena), 8 Oct 2016 Don Dokken (Vo) George Lynch (G) Jeff Pilson (B) Mick Brown (Dr)
All these hate comments on Don dude. "Yeah I know dude you got any idea why"?. Well, it could be cuz back in his orime time he strained his vocal chords and sang so hard, but other than that I dont kbow. "WOW dude! great information, Im gonna tell everybody thats why he cant sing good anymore, so they'll stop hatin on him!"
I went to a Lynch Mob show not to long ago and was right in front of George and his cabs. It definitely was not thin or fuzzy. Pure power tube tone. Used an occasional boost pedal infront of a Park (Marshall) amp but that was it.
Quo Tanzient Yea you right 53 years old and 30 albums later i guess that is quiet young compare to Rolling Stones and Deep Purple that now are over 70 years old so i still have a long way to go oh goly!
looks like karma got dons ass for all the shit about dokken being about him. Now all these years later he is the weak link. Jeff is carrying dons vocals.
He also destroyed the original line up with his greed and still only does it for the money. Recently he talked shit on stage about "shitty" opening local bands he "had" to play with. He is a douche bag and he sounds like shit. Your right though, Jeff isn't carrying his vocals George Mick and Jeff are. Dokken were my favorite band and I really love Dons "Up From The Ashes" album, but he ruined a good thing with his ego.
Travis Tipton and Don doesn't even attempt to sing in the upper range like the songs are. He takes the lower route and sounds like he is ready for his teddy bear and a bedtime story.
Jesus Don has let himself go both visually and musically. What a fkin embarrassing performance by Don. Don sings a full octave lower on everything and makes the songs sound "Xanaxy." You know George just needed the money and is like "what a joke."
