Dokken - Its Not Love Guitar Lesson. In this video Ethan Lee will teach you how to play those great heavy metal riffs of "its not love" played by george lynch. dont forget to tune down to Eb enjoy!
Like your instructions , a lot easier to follow than many I've seen on here, thank you so much for taking the time to make it simpler !! By the way, your one very talented musician!!!
Great lesson man! I've been working on Lynch riff's for a while. The toughest ones I think are in "Burning like a flame" I'd love to see a lesson on that one!
hi mejislasher i mute the A string with the palm of my right hand (the pinky side of it).. im doing it by placing my palm where the string meets the bridge more or less. you will have to experiment the exact location of placing your palm till you get the right sound. as youre getting far from the bridge and towards the neck, the sound is more fully muted and you dont want that. as you proceed towards the bridge the sound is partially muted and a little bit sustained and this is the ideal sound.
Great job man ! thanks for your lesson. The tuning of that song is so weird, don´t you´ve got problems ? I´ve had to tune it 1/4 step down to be in tune..... took me a lot of time, to play along with the studio version. Great lessons dude ! I´ve subbed you by the way if you like check out my cover of that song :D
+ChrisShredGuitar That is correct, I have a guitar world mag from the late 80's and George lynch said when the mixed the album under lock and key the mix tuned it down 1/4 step.
+Stephen Russell yeah.... me,too it s really a pain in the butt to play along especially with a floyd tremolo haha if you like check out my dokken covers :D cheers buddy
("Sgt.J."). "I, used to be motivated, give a volume. The drive was good enough for me." He... May tell you? It does sound like drive. And, what ever amp he is using? I, realize 2 of my notes 🎵 were off. Lol. Eh I, didn't care.🎸🎼🎵🎶🔊🔊. ✌️🕊️
9:15 How do you play that A string muted? Do you use your thumb on your right hand to mute the string right after you play it or do you mute with your left hand?
