I just subscribed your chanel. And i have to say this setup for footsteps only is AMAZING. I have no words. Thank you so much. Please, from now on every time you put a new video with sound setup, give us also that settings for footsteps only.
Tried both. I REALLY hear the footsteps with the “poopy” one. I was able to track players blasting them around corners more consistently. I hope they don’t mess up the audio for season 4.
To everyone whose helped get me past 1k since this video, THANK YOU. Put alot of time and effort into this with no return, but ya'll not only met the goal, ya smashed it!
Just used option 2 for footsteps. Didnt find the overall audio too bad.. but wow what a difference with footsteps. Could fully locate where people were. 1st game using it and got a wee 15 peice dub
The GOAT for my audio settings (Xbox Series X) These pair great with my custom EQ settings for my xbox wireless headset. Love the content and I can always trust your settings ❤

@@NunchuckNuts Hi. so do you run Dolby atmos or stereo uncompressed for the xbox audio output? If you run Dolby atmos and have some eq settings on the xbox headset will it affect the audio?
Yup, totally agree with the lowering accuracy. I’m on Kbm and my iron sights are right on the guy and my shots are outlining the guy. Or it’s pushing my aim off the guy But other games. My aim is a laser. Frustrating.
Many thanks for the kind words man! All I can recommend is you try them both in game, I don't have that headset specifically. So until I can have companies send me headsets to test out and rate.. I can only test the ones I already have.
Your EQ1 settings and ingame settings sounds great with my turtle beach stealth pro headset and you have earned a subscription. Defo -1 for the 16kHz yeah ?
This is ONLY half of what most of us need!! I don't even know how toget into my Dolby Atmos, or get to it EQ settings!! This started almost 10 days ago. I read the "EASY way" to improve footsteps! LOL. Go into your sound settings, find the Enhancement TAB, and click on the and then activate Enhancement. Well in my Alienware laptop "Enhancements" is NOT available. So then I come across info that it's probably due to my Dolby Atmos?? I have seen some reference to it on my laptop, so I presume I have it? But I do not know where or how to access it. So your video here only tells me WHAT TO DO once I get to the Dolby Atmos?? PLEASE HELP ME.
Stupid question...I just have sliders on the bands. How do I get to the specific positions you have listed? Is it a matter of clicking the arrow keys that many times?
In ear is fine a lot of the time, the issue with 1st person shooters and environment based games.. is you need the best directional audio you can get, and of course at the furthest distance away you can muster. Which as of now, only over-ear or a theater system can accomplish.
Yes, because the larger the driver in the headset and the higher the frequency range.. the more you can hear the ques as intended (especially with home theater).
Aight, so I feel this is definitely headset dependent. Been following your guides to use for my Microsoft Xbox headset and then a steelseries nova headset and they have worked decent. Picked up an EPOS H6PRO today (to replace the steelseries) and both of these don’t work so well. First eq feels like…well, just too much of everything? Not sure how to explain it. The “foot steps only” tune just doesn’t work. Funny enough, the stock “movie” tune in Dolby atmos works very well, comparatively speaking. We have any idea what that one looks like? I’m using the “detailed” profile within movie. I found this to also work really well with the other 2 headsets as well. I feel like the older tunes from when you started this worked better for me. Either way, I really enjoy your content, please keep it going. 👌
Activision seems to be changing the audio settings each month or so, so it's making my job harder each time. That's why you see so many of the same vids in my channel, just different time frames. I have to re-analyze gameplay every time. Either way, I'm glad for your comment as it means I need to do another video on EQ settings. Expect another here in the next week or so. Activision will never get the best of me.
Hi always follow your videos thanks for the great job just one issue, and I don’t know how to deal with it. The new sandstorm in Al Mazrah really bugs my audio out, I can always her the sand blowing everywhere, anyone else had this issue??
Hi mate, i saw in your WZ audio Settings that we have the same Soundcard AE-5. Could you post few screenshots from your settings from the Softwarre there? That Would be nice. Big THX
Is stereo supposed to be a lot quieter than headphone bass boost? Option 2 does work well I just find it’s very quiet. Also I only have the option for 48000 hz (DVD quality). Do you know how to make it higher?
Yes, the in game ranges are different. That's why I choose home theater mix. It's the least limiting. And yes, but you either need a device capable of higher than 48000hz or a soundcard that can push it above.
@@JBORD101 awesome thanks. If I buy the Dolby subscription and use in ear wired headphones, would this model work well? Sony MDR-XB55AP Or would I need to use something like A40s to really hear everything.
Been watching your videos for a while, none of your eq settings have been ideal for me, that’s not saying your work isn’t authentic, I much rather take your advice vs others out there. If anyone has listened to bobbypoffgaming stream, the man has literally the best sound I have heard ever in warzone. Loot boxes you can hear from very far away and footsteps are nice and loud but doesn’t muddy up any other sounds in game. I use sennheiser HD560s with g6 dac. I have Dolby and have used other softwares but nothing sounds good. Thank you though for the videos.
Your concerns are valid, but you need to keep in mind these eqs are more designed for footstep audio. You're talking about loot boxes and other cues. In short, there is no way around this if you wish to elevate the volume of certain cues far above the others. Additionally, bob has a pc that has access to other massive equalizer applications. Consoles and many pc users don't have access to or understand those programs, so dolby is more than enough in most scenarios.
@@JBORD101 Okay, I am one of the ones who is very interested in learning more about audio, I am going to keep gathering bits of knowledge as I go. Thanks.
