Hello. How can we use this demo, when YT doesn't even support surround audio in the browser or app? Will a download provide a different result? And totally agree with For All Mankind on Apple, excellent Atmos content on the '7 minutes of Terror' ep.

In the description there's a download link for the Dolby Atmos soundtrack. Also YT supports surround. This was uploaded in surround sound. Thx.

I have an Nvidia Shield TV that connects to a HT receiver. The receiver displays says it's getting a Dolby Digital surround signal when playing this video via the RU-vid app. Dolby Surround processing occurs and I can definitely hear sound coming from the ceiling speakers.

RU-vid is limited to DD 5.1 compressed surround AFAIK. Most Atmos systems will automatically upmix a 5.1 channel source into how ever many channels your hardware has. So it won't be actually Atmos, even if your top drivers are making sound. It will just be up mixed 5.1

Well, whatever. I'm watching this on RU-vid at 1440p hdr with my Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5g, which is giving me an amazing visual and listening with my Samsung AKG Bluetooth headphones and it's still an awesome experience for me. Thank you Jennifer. Great work‼️

Have to download to have Dolby Atmos? I wonder how to watch video like this with Dolby Atmos sound because my receiver never show Atmos with video like this! RU-vid doesn’t support Atmos even I have RU-vid Premium? Thanks

Yes you can download or stream from the link. Also you have to enable Atmos downloads on your app. RU-vid plays it in surround. Dolby Atmos is available on Apple music or Tidal. I play it through my Apple TV in Dolby Atmos from Apple Music. Thx.

@@bryanv2391 Anytime. You can pay though the music in Dolby Atmos from the video in Apple Music. It sounds great. On another topic I'm mystified why Apple TV doesn't ay HDR videos from RU-vid. Thank you.

I have both an Apple 4K TV and an Nvidia Shield TV connected to a HT receiver. The receiver display says it's getting a "Multi PCM" signal when playing this video via the Apple TV RU-vid app. I can definitely hear sound coming from the ceiling speakers. WRT the Shield TV RU-vid app, the receiver display says it's getting a Dolby Digital+ 3/2 (=5.1) signal when playing this video. Dolby Surround processing occurs and I can also definitely hear sound coming from the ceiling speakers.

Aloha Jennifer. lance here from the island of Oahu. I have a question: I have apple plus and they are supposed to have mivies in dolby atmos, but to me they're kind of lacking true all around sound. Do you know why is this? I just love your stuff. You should work for apple plus, or even netflix. 😊

Thank you for your kind comment. For a movie with good Dolby Atmos sound is the Matrix Resurrections and I bought it from Apple TV for 7.99$. For Apple TV plus shows "For all Mankind" the latest episode had nice Dolby Atmos and the series Invasion. Our systems differs and also it depends where we place them in our spaces. I have two systems and I'm very satisfied with the Dolby Atmos on Apple TV plus. Thank you again.

Dolby Atmos download in the description. We uploaded the Atmos file but RU-vid plays it in Dolby digital plus. That's why we include Dolby Atmos links to streaming services of our work or on Patreon. On Patreon you can download many Dolby Atmos demos for personal use.

We all know that. It streams in Dolby Digital plus but in the description there are links with the Dolby Atmos file and it sounds amazing. RU-vid does a great job though in surround.

@@bbeach117 This argument reminds me of Netflix supporting Dolby Vision but Samsung TVs dont so users see HDR10 but the video is in Dolby Vision. Anyway you can listen to the Atmos version and is very good. I'm glad YT supports Surround sound. Is amazing.

The loudness level of a Dolby Atmos mix must be at or below -18 LUFS (Loudness Units relative to Full Scale) in order to play back correctly on a system or device compatible with Dolby Atmos otherwise you get distortion.

I did join her Patreon, and I have downloadet the files, but it doesn't seem to contain any Atmos :( (and yes I have full atmos setup, and succesfully recognise and can play several other types of atmos files)

It plays in HDR10 and 5.1. However the downloader made available the Dolby Atmos soundtrack link in the description and the Dolby Vision is available to all patrons. YT does a great job though. Is crystal clear.
