You are great ashok గారూ....
Dolby Atmos uncompressed version should get 18Mbps and above of streaming which any ott can't provide with 4g network, and netflix will not be able to provide 18Mbps+, DolbyDigital+ can be expected at a max, Once 5G is introduced can expect uncompressed formats and transmission feasibility also come into picture, since these formats are network bandwidth hungry have to go for an offline content. download or purchase the original blu ray disks. ignore these posts if you find the information is irrelevant.
Another point using only ARC can support Atmos using Dolby Digital Plus compression. If you have a TV with eARC, you can get the full lossless Dolby Atmos experience and it depends upon bandwidth also
True....Dolby Atmos Itself is Not a Channel Based. It is DD+ with Extended Surrounds.... Even In Movie Theatre also Never Felt Sound Coming from the Top.... Like in 5.1 we can clearly Identify Sound Moving from Left to right and Then to Front... Atmos Audio Also We don't see much difference...like Sound Moving from Top to Down etc....
some more information for viewers. whether you were delivering sound to a stereo TV, a surround sound system, or a full Dolby Atmos setup, you could get the best possible audio given the capabilities of the playback system. Consumers can get high quality audio from a variety of source devices including Blu-ray Disc players, set-top boxes, digital-media adapters, game consoles, and PCs and play back on a variety of sink devices such as A/V receivers, sound bars, and televisions. Content for these sources can be in various audio formats including Dolby Digital (AC-3), Dolby Digital Plus (E-AC-3), and Dolby TrueHD. DOLBY DIGITAL Dolby Digital (AC-3) is the digital audio standard for DVDs and is the audio standard for digital broadcast television in many countries all over the world. Dolby Digital supports several audio channel configurations, but the most common ones are 5.1-ch and stereo. 5.1-ch Dolby Digital audio is typically encoded at bitrates between 384-640 kbps, while stereo Dolby Digital audio is typically encoded at 192 kbps. DOLBY DIGITAL PLUS Dolby Digital Plus (E-AC-3) provides up to twice the efficiency of Dolby Digital while adding new features like 7.1-ch audio, support for descriptive video services, and support for Dolby Atmos (but more on that later). Dolby Digital Plus is widely used by streaming and broadcast services to deliver surround sound audio at lower bitrates. 5.1-ch audio in Dolby Digital Plus is typically encoded at bitrates between 192-256 kbps while stereo audio in Dolby Digital Plus is typically encoded at bitrates between 96-128 kbps. Dolby Digital Plus bitstreams are not directly backwards compatible with Dolby Digital decoders, but Dolby Digital Plus decoders can decode Dolby Digital bitstreams. DOLBY TRUEHD Dolby TrueHD, also known as MLP, is a lossless audio codec used widely on HD and UHD Blu-ray Discs. Dolby TrueHD supports up to 24-bit audio and sampling rates from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz. Dolby TrueHD supports up to 7.1 audio channels as well as Dolby Atmos immersive audio. As Dolby TrueHD is a lossless audio codec, the data rate is variable. For example, Dolby TrueHD bitrates average around 6,000 kbps for Dolby Atmos at 48 kHz with peak data rates up to a maximum of 18,000 kbps (18Mbps) for high sampling rate content. WHAT ABOUT DOLBY ATMOS? Dolby Atmos is not a codec! Dolby Atmos is an immersive audio format that can be delivered via multiple audio codecs including Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD (but NOT Dolby Digital). Blu-ray Discs deliver Dolby Atmos using Dolby TrueHD (with Dolby Digital Plus as an available alternative), and broadcast and streaming services deliver Dolby Atmos using Dolby Digital Plus. In order to maintain compatibility with millions of devices in consumer homes, Dolby Atmos in these codecs is implemented as a backwards-compatible extension. Dolby Atmos data is hidden within the bitstream and can be decoded by a Dolby Atmos-compatible A/V Receiver, soundbar or television. Non-Dolby Atmos capable devices will decode a 5.1-ch or 7.1-ch version from the Dolby Digital Plus or Dolby TrueHD bitstreams. There is new HDMI signaling to indicate that Dolby Atmos is supported by a sink device. All of these formats are supported today on the "forward" HDMI connection between a source device and a sink device.
@@imtiyazali8160 i didn't get your question correctly, however will try my best with my limited understanding, when you connect any streaming media to a AV receiver it will have ability and capability to upscale to 4k and some recently launched AVR's with 8K and all the latest Audio formats else pass-though, if you select pass-though it will send the data (signal) as-is what ever is provided by the streaming device.with a qualified HDMI and also there comes the HDR 10 and HDR10+ lets take this topic a side, and if you see Netflix will provide the 5.1 channel at a max of Digital Dolby plus+, Dolby Atmos is not a codec! Dolby Atmos is an immersive audio format that can be delivered via multiple audio codecs including Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD (but NOT Dolby Digital). Blu-ray Discs deliver Dolby Atmos using Dolby TrueHD (with Dolby Digital Plus as an available alternative), some of the smart tv's can be installed with most of the OTT app's and can play those but there is a catch OS (operating system Android, or in house tv OS) will only support the provided audio formats and only few smart TV's has the Dolby Atmos format embedded. hence the streaming devices will comes into picture and the true high speed HDMI cable is required with ARC or eARC (Audio Return Channel or enhanced ARC) which will send the Audio signal to the AVR, Since most of the tv's will have 2 speakers or with a max 4 speakers. minimum requirement for Atmos experience is 5.1.2 Atmos enabled (Left front, Right front, Center, left surround, right surround )(5.0 setup), adding one subwoofer (5.1 setup) and ceiling left and right speakers (voice of God) (5.1.2) setup. **Note:all the information i provide is with limited understanding please ignore any informtation incorrect and subjected to correction. :) this is knowledge sharing i didn't mean that i know everything.
Enduku bro intha pedda comment pettavu... Na old video chusava...!? Playlis check chesava...!? Nuv rasina comment ki prathi link meeda oka video chesanu with proof...
Simply streaming content is compressed both audio and video still some movies you have atmos immersive audio which will be played through dolby + codec which is very much lossy and chaltha hi
Bro play the movies through netflix app installed in SAMSUNG or SONY or LG Tv's which have HDMI-EARC output because with out HDMI EARC or HDMI 2.1 port even the device supports ATMOS it will give ATMOS output as Dolby digital to AV RECEIVER. So play the Atmos movies in devices that have HDMI EARC or HDMI 2.1 Port and check in AV RECEIVER. Next you played the trailer of extraction movie so I think atmos is not present in trailers that's why RECEIVER is showing Dolby digital.
I think the reason why it did not read atmos for extraction movie is, you played trailer. I agree that quality of atmos output is different from atmos speakers when you play content from computer vs OTT, obviously for playing atmos you need highest possible transfer rate. But, we can definitely make out lot of difference between atmos movies and 5.1 movies while watching Netflix / Apple TV + content from Apple TV pass thru from atmos speakers. Atmos enabled movies feel like you are inside theatre whereas 5.1 feel just like output from normal speakers. I tried playing dolby atmos sample videos from Dolby atmos app in windows 10 PC, and we have to do lot of adjustments and enable atmos for home theatre mode, after which Dolby app has shown that atmos speaker is connected. We can feel 3D effect in sample videos, although not tried playing downloaded atmos movies this way, but I think it’s possible.. If you want to really observe the difference between OTT and actual atmos, download Dolby summit app, and play the sample video on atmos speakers...
Hotstar supports dolby atmos by support ed atmos bars directly , Akhanda etc ... Avail in atmos Through apple mobile airplay with apple kit supported tv oled Lg
Yes bro all customers using different players and saying it’s Dolby this video is very good to show Clint’s ,some clints using Amazon fire stick and saying Dolby need how it’s come not possible . All clints are thinking tooo much

Yes bro in Netflix only few contents support Dolby Atmos that will be in "Dolby Digital plus with Atmos" with 700-1000kbps which is not a Dolby Atmos. They will stream only steam added Atmos support to Dolby Digital Plus not the original Atmos which needs much data to play and hard for OTT to transfer to us for steaming. Where as Amazon prime support Dolby digital Plus upto 640kbps but in prime and Netflix also some contents are of 2.0 Dolby digital Plus audio with 225kbps also Where as SunNxt and hotstar support Dolby digital Plus 192kbps only Where as apple movie support Dolby digital audio Finally no OTT support lossless audio as they stream through internet which have much complications and to give customers good experience in mobile,tv, etc they try to keep data that is need to stream to be good and minimal

you are wrong boss, For extraction movie, you get Dolby Digital plus because you played trailer, not the movie...No atmos is available in trailers..there is no online magic..
i think internet speed also matters , have you checked internet speed over there ? because if there is no enough speed OTT platforms automatically changes to compressed formats.
@@HomeTheaterGuide yeah, I read help.netflix.com/legal/termsofuse, section 4.7. I don't know at your end here we don't get continuous min. 15mbps speed all the time 24X7 and I think no where , ISPs share bandwidth among users, it will be low at peak times or vary ..
@@HomeTheaterGuide and one more thing , don't think I'm blaming you or something else, you post videos informative, what I mean to say is this also one point where we suffer a lot, here(outskirts-visakhapatnam) we don't get DD+ due to low bandwidths. I too agree best way to watch high resolution content is either Blue Ray or download specific file formats from torrents.
Good.....Work bro then, there is a trash Dolby atmos movies in online ,so the purchasers who are ready to get Dolby atmos receivers - without the source what is the advantage of getting Dolby atmos receivers.so finally getting 5.1 is so better while purchasing huge money on atmos receivers,my intension there is no huge source to get Dolby atmos in our homes, better thing avoid atmos receivers simply purchase 5.1 the out put is ultimate, thank you.
Don't purchase from websites. Instead search for dealers around your area and you'll get discounts. Online prices are retail prices and just to know the price but not for buying. Your paying a lot more than what dealers can quote for it. Unless you can spare such then proceed to buy online because of these unprecedented times.
Thank u ashok great cleared all my doubts. ❤Spot on.. Also its really difficult for anyone to spot the difference between for the same movie which is played from bluray (dolby atmos delivered in dolby truehd audio codec) and on netflix(dolby atmos delivered via dolby digital +)
Even prime/ netflix 5.1/ atmos movie playing frm TV will nt give dat much, if u play same content through xbox one s/ x or recent models u hear sound , like watching bluray
