Not everyone can be a model and just bc they have a ton of followers doesn’t make them qualified to model. Get people to model clothes that actually know how to model, that are in the Industry, don’t just get kids with a number of subscribers.
Karla Alvarez girl, i admire your ignorance to the industry. what's the use of lesser known models if they dont get to sell the product or even entice people to buy the goods? they could if they hire kendall, gigi or cara. they got lots of followers! millions of followers equals tons of sponsored tweets or posts which translates to millions of purchases of goods. that if they have the insta 3nity!
They can go to h&m or forever21. The latter is doing sales. When they graduate college and be part of the working force, then they can afford luxury fashion. U always underestimate the teens! I love some of the influencers who walked the show, but they are not professional models and the fact thet people like them are walking shows just cause they are famous discredits the modeling and fashion industry
This has to be one of the worst fashion shows I've ever seen. Using internet celebs as models was a bad idea, they were so many horrific walks. The worst thing about it is that you couldn't even tell apart the real models from the internet celebs, except for someone models they had a good walk like Lucky B Smith. This looked like such an amateur show. The crazy part was that the internet celebs had more camera time than actual models. Horrific. Hopefully another designer doesn't try to do this.
D&G messed it up when they thought they can use any handsome person to walk in the runway, when actually you can have the look but that doesn't mean you have the talent. I'm wondering where are Sean O'Pray, Francisco Lachowski, Jon Kortajarena, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel and can keep going.
I don't understand why the video doesn't use the actual audio from the fashion show? It looks so ridiculuos when the singer is clearly singing (or not singing) but it's not sync with the audio. Why bother to have a performer there in the first place?
There's a reason that the modeling industry is supposed to be tough. This show is all over the place. I love D&G and I think the pieces are wonderful. I just don't think they made an appropriate approach with this show. Not everyone is a model and not everyone can be a model, sorry not sorry, that's just the way it is.

Jim Sanchez sure, Gigi walks like she's stepping on melted tupperware, and Kendall photographs with the same amount of emotion and variety as said tupperware, but yeah, they're devoted super models.

Finally, some people of color included. People of color and Asians are finally beautiful. The world is made of all kinds of shapes and sizes and colors of people. It is good to see Dolce & Gabbana has moved past racism and is a brand of clothing and fashion for the entire Earth. I loved how all of the clothes made all of the diversity of people look so unique and beautiful. Peace and Long Life.

Wow, I feel like this was one of the best shows ever. I feel like this demonstrates that anyone can be a model. All different shapes and sizes. Everyone looks good and suits things in their own way............. I am an optimistic girl.

I know they're real professional models on this runway, but for me it just looks like a lot of random people walking. Not all of the people on this show knows how to walk. It just looks weird. But I do kinda like the collection tho.
This is so sad to see what fashion industry is becoming... I mean, these outfits are beautiful but half of the models who wears it can't even walk... really disappointed to see that social medias have so much influence on such prestigious brands as Dolce Gabbana. Look at those models, they are just medias famous who have nothing to do in a fashion show because they never wanted to and they never worked for it but that is how society works now...
Alexander As you just saw not everyone can look good in clothes or walk properly so modelling is a real job that should be paid to people who can actually walk.
Designers paid people who can sell their product. Models makes clothes looks good, but celebrities has fan base, and their fans paid attention to every details of their idols, and a lot of them really would buy everything used by or looks good on their idols. Not to mention, teenagers is really profitable market.

the show was is in a new level😊 i loved the co concept of having viners, singers, models and social media stars as the runway models... the collection was super I loved the jacket, the jumpsuits and those long coats were just wow, the accessories as usual on point. new concept of involving everyone from different stands of career is nice.. #DG

A great collection; love the cropped trousers! While the social media "models" were used and just a few professional models were on the catwalk, I just focused on the clothes and the details of the collection. It was obvious who were the real male models and who were social media personalities, including the women. Good job to Jim Chapman and Marcus Butler!
Yep, model choices were so bad : youtubers, viners, children of famous actors and actresses or short , But the design of clotheses is really high fashion
