this made me so emotional, people crave city life so deeply now a days, but nothing is parallel to the beauty and serenity that comes with a simple life. Not to get too much into religion, but I strongly believe there is a reason why Jesus was born poor, the prince among the shepherds, because the people who has "less" truly have more in their hearts

These videos are such an escape. It reminded of a day I had forgotten when I, my friend Brunello and his 80 year old father cooked a fabulous lunch made from fresh garden vegetables from the father's garden in the hills above Savona near Genoa and freshly caught mussels. The lunch lasted all afternoon. Your videos make me reconnect with some of the happiest, simplest moments of my own life. Thank you.

Hi Kylie. I live in Irvine California. One of my dreams was to visit the Amalfi Coast. That dream came true at age 61. My boyfriend of just one year at the time, fulfilled that dream for me. I loved, loved , loved it. We went in November of 2018. It was absolutely breathtaking. We also went to Sorrento, Orvieto and drove through the countryside. Paul and I fell in live more with each other while we were there. We would love to go back, unfortunately now is now a good time because of COVID. When I was much younger before a knee injury I would go hiking and climbing often solo. Sometimes I was accompanied by butterflies or small birds. I think together my little friends and I were enjoying the same beauty, simplicity and company.

I want to hang out with an old Italian couple so bad. I’m Mexican and French American but I’ve always been so drawn to Italian culture. Catholicism is the greatest for simplicity 🙏🏼 The Lord is my shepherd there is nothing I shall want.

There's something about the Italian people that is so genuine and pure. I had the same experience you did when I was in Italy. Strangers inviting me to Sunday lunch and when I showed up the house was full of relatives that they wanted me to meet and them to meet me. Any excuse for a family gathering. It brought tears to my eyes. I left a piece of my heart in Italy.

We walked down from Santa Maria del Costello in late May 2019 down into Positano. With the beautiful sea fog and bees and flowers. Stunning.

I have experienced Maurizio's tour and he is amazing! It was a very personal tour and we had a similar experience with the friendliness and the connection to nature. What an amazing day we had! Thanks for bringing back a great memory!

Ciao Kylie , This video reminds me of growing up in a mainly Italian community in Sydney in the eighties , when life was definitely more simple and cheaper . However having said that , life can still be lived this way wherever you are in the world ...it’s a choice . The Italian immigrants ( the original , as from the 50,s until the early eighties ) are now getting old or deceased and some of these beautiful, simple traditions have been carried over , however the days of Italian neighbourhood backyards , full of organic produce , poultry and fruit trees are now truly hard to find . I can’t tell you as a kid how incredible the produce was and the kitchens of these beautiful people was just mouth watering 😋 !! The biggest hug Kylie , take care 🤗❤️🙏

Kylie, I just stumbled upon your channel and am moved by the quality of your videos and how authentic you are. The scenery you capture on video is so inspiring and hopeful that life so simple is more than what we need to be content and happy. No worrying about traffic, rude and selfish people, measuring our success by money, and trying to be better than everyone. We always search for the next best thing that will bring us temporary happiness. Which is the wrong mindset. We need to be happy every day with what we have and the ppl we chose to have in our life. You have a very unique channel and your editing skills make your videos seem like a fairy tale and innocent like the films in the old days. Please don’t fall into the trap of changing your process just for the views and making it not real. Stay true to yourself and ppl will feel your energy like I do. I’m already in love with you. I’m also Italian but have never been to Italy as I have one aunt remaining and living in Rome with my cousins living with her. But I have to say the mountains in America,the Appalachian Mountains in particular, are beautiful and have many things that you can eat if such as mushrooms and herbs that grow wild. My husband said he also played in the trees and in the mountains as a child no PlayStation or cell phones. what a wonderful way to grow up.

Your choice of music "Meditation" was my fathers favourite piece of music ... an amazing choice by you ... he had Polio as a child and walked with a limp and wore special boots all his life ... passed away at the young age 61 ... he worked all his life to get us educated and give us a brilliant start in life ... life in Ireland was tough back then ... you certainly have an old head on young shoulders ... keep up the good work!
