Dolichandra unguis-cati or Cat’s Claw in Hyderabad, India 03/30/2023.
Beautiful tropical vine from Central and South America. Considered noxious weed in Florida and else where in USA. Growing here on concrete wall, shows it's beautiful trumpet shaped flowers. I do leave the back ground noises as is, because it can give a sense of its environment. Full sun, I don't think it gets watered regularly or catered to. It should not be grown in India as well, as I see it smothering anything in its path, and difficult to eradicate. Any thing that tubers and tendrils are even more difficult to control.
I saw this vine almost 7 years ago, in this location. I don't remember it being this spread out, and in the past blooms were more sparse. It will be interesting to see what it will do in the next 2-3 years, if not contained as to whether it will more aggressive and invasive.
