So, there were actually a few different versions of the Franklin Mint Rose you could buy. The most common is the one in her red "jump dress" but I have seen the doll in box for sale wearing the yellow "strolling dress," the boarding suit, the white/pink/lavender "sinking dress," the green "tea" dress and the dinner gown, which is the one I picked because I saw her for a decent price and remembered you talking about the dress. I just had to get the gloves and black stockings separate because they never made them for her. The sinking dress and tea dress versions are the least common, but they do pop up from time to time. I'm really glad you like her and the clothes! They're so well done and I love every piece that I have! And yes, the earring are a pain. Good thing I just have her displayed on a shelf with my Titanic collection. So once I put them in, I just don't touch her until it's time to change her clothes again. Also really glad you love the Elena dolls and actually prefer their hair pre-styled. To answer, what Mateo has is called a Tamborita. It's a drum wand and he uses it for his magic. I wasn't sure how much, if any, of the show you'd seen, so I wrote the descriptions as if you didn't know anything at all just to be safe. Sorry about that. And, unfortunately, the reason Elena is not an official princess is simply because she does not have a movie. That's it. Besides Disney, there is a large chunk of the general audience who think that Elena does not count because she's "JUST a TV show" (as if it doesn't take work to make a TV show) and a separate section of that group who think that she's a joke and poor representation for the Hispanic community. They do not claim her and neither does Disney given how fast they gave up on the show.

Dude the birthday thing is so relatable. My birthday falls on Memorial Day so everyone has always been out of town on the weekend of my birthday too. When I was really really little, like preschool age, I would be able to have birthday parties, but I stopped being able to have them when I was around 8, I'd invite everyone and no one would come. I didn't have a sweet 16 at all, my mom canceled the plans I had because she thought I was "acting funny" when i was looking forward to it. But now that I am older and settled down, when I want to do something for my birthday I tell my friends like 3 months in advance not to make plans and it makes me happy that people make time for me! Sometimes people still cant make it, but when that happened this year they surprised me with a little cake later and it made me feel like they still cared. So I hope you find a gang like that sometime now that you are settled down, don't be afraid to be assertive and let people know what is important to you!
Dude. I so get this. My birthday is at the end of August right at the first day of school where I live and literally no one gives a shit it's your birthday when they're busy with Back to School chaos. I've had maybe three birthday parties my whole life and don't have enough friends to have one now. BUT, I've learned to make it special with the people I do have since my family doesn't do much.

Happy belated birthday Brooke! I hope your day was just as fun and wonderful as you are! Oh my gosh, when the Strawberry Shortcake dolls came out, I was hit with a huge wave of nostalgia. I never had the dolls, but my sisters and I watched the Seaberry Beach Party DVD over and over again as kids (same with Adventures on Ice Cream Island, that was also good). Blueberry Muffin, Rainbow Shertbert, Seaberry Delight, and Coco Calypso are all very special to me as a result, those episodes were so fun. And that mermaid doll, I remember one of the plots centered around Seaberry Delight telling a story around a campfire about these mermaids that almost lost everything due to their greed for treasure. And of course the mermaids in the story are played out by mermaid versions of the characters core to the episode, so I'm guessing that's what this doll of Blueberry Muffin is from, but I'm not sure. I know right as I was falling out of it, the international friends became a thing, so Tea Blossom I recognize. She came into the franchise when they were giving Strawberry a bunch of friends from all over the club when she started an international friendship club. Crepe Suzette is the other character I remember showing up, she was from France while Tea Blossom was from China. Gosh, the sentiment about doll collectors trying to find each other is a mood. I am always way too nervous to talk about it in the doll aisle when I see someone else that's my age, but I know we're out there, and I'm glad we exist, even if we don't see each other. I'm surrounded by so many wonderful people over in the customizing side of the community, it's truly spectacular. It brings me so much joy to share my creations with people, and the hunt for the right doll bases is so much fun.
You are a sweetheart and I'm so happy that you maintained your love and joy for dolls and toys. Where I live I sadly have no friends that collect dolls or enjoy them as I do and there's nothing like sharing with friends. Social media gives me anxiety and until very recent I've enjoyed my dolls in my own bubble. I'm glad I found your channel and Angels and a few others. It's almost like being part of a special little community of just the best people. Everyone would be a little happier if they indulged in "toys". I hope your birthday was special. Also in case you didn't know the LOL JK dolls are tot sized with adorable mini sized stands. And that last box had some of the cutest wrapping! My orange kitty is too fat, I know, I can barely pick him up sometimes XD I knew you'd love the picture, and it's one of my favorites too because it's rare to get all four kitties together like that. You seeing For Keeps at Holiday of Play is what initially made me buy them! I had to buy them on the Loyal Subjects website, I've never seen them in a store. And Hairdorables deserved so much better! They were some of the first dolls I collected as an adult because they were so cute and their hair is so nice. The My Little Pony is the Micro Toy Box! They've been out for a while, but not in a lot of places. Also, the mini 5 surprise ball is supposed to glow in the dark ;]

And unfortunately the only reason she wasn’t put in the official line up is because she was from a tv show rather than a movie…she totally deserves to be in it but oh well. The universal reaction to rainbow fish 🤣 because the way you said it when you first saw what it was is exactly how I do when I find rainbow fish merch/books at thrift stores and my friend did the same when I showed her a picture of one Frosty Puff, Crepe Suzette and the others were from a tv special where Strawberry and friends traveled to other places (crepe Suzette was from France I remember) :) and the strawberry pony is named Honeypie! I also liked her Anyway I’m late but happy birthday!!
Happy belated Birthday! (your birthday is a day after mine, that's so cool) I have that same Musical Treasures G3 MLP CD. Most of the music on it is like nursery rhyme type music songs, but there are a few okay/nice sounding songs mixed in. I was able to find a playlist of the songs included on the CD on RU-vid a few months ago when I got mine, but for some reason I can't find that playlist or the songs anymore. I'll keep looking for it though, I wanna listen to it again. Also, the Frosty Puff Strawberry Shortcake Playmates doll is so nostalgic to me, I have one from the same line (Raspberry Torte (yes, its tort) with Kiwi clip) but she's missing her skirt, shoes, and accessories (including the clip). She still has a Raspberry smell to her though. I really wanna collect more from that line eventually, Tea Blossom and Crepes Suzette being my favorites.
