Hey Rachel & Paul I have to say, Paul touched on something very important for collectors ( dolls or otherwise ) it is important for collectors to remember: this supposed to be FUN , there is no right or wrong way to collect . Some collectors have giant diverse groups throughout their homes , some take a more minimalistic approach and have an edited selection of items presented and any way you do it is what is the best way for you . I have a large fashion doll collection and some other dolls that I love . I rotate my collection on my shelves every month or so, it keeps everything fresh for me and when I walk into my apartment I immediately feel happy and really proud of my collection. I don’t care what the hottest doll is or the most expensive or rare , I love the dolls that i connect with . Disney dolls are so pretty and well made and they are an easy canvas to customize . The anime doll that I love the most and am saving for is Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid . These dolls are several hundred dollars and are a big investment . Saving my pennies ! My mom actually told me once when I was worried what people would think if they knew I collected Barbies - she said who cares what people think ! Anyways thanks for sharing Paul and Rachel . If I had a sibling that collected dolls as well I would feel very blessed . Stan

Thanks Paul for letting us see your collection and for helping me make some decisions as to what to do with my dolls that have been packed away for several years. I now live in a small apartment and space is limited but I'm going to get creative and haul them out of "retirement"! It's time to enjoy what I love and I think I am going to have to get rid of some of the boxes, as I just don't have room. And further, at this (later) stage of my life, its time to appreciate what I really enjoy and not worry about future values of anything! So again, thank you for allowing us into your home and also for revealing your views on life. Well done!

I have the feeling that perhaps Paul prefers the fantasy world over realty .I can relate , I to prefer fantasy world .i admire how he buys what he likes and not what society tells him he should like.

I think it’s cool Paul has an interest in dolls, anime, movies, & manga. I enjoy them myself. I think people in general who don’t collect anything think it’s weird. Especially being a male collector people always have something negative to say ( I collect figures). Thanks for the tour of his house!

Thank you Paul and Rachel. I am so delighted in Paul's collection. It is so awesome. I love all his collection. Mine is quite eclectic and sort of they need to speak to me. My Disney collection is mostly Disney Store Animators and a few Princesses. I also love AG especially Pleasant Company ones. I also have a lot of Geisha and Japanese dolls, but not Anime ones.

Paul has a very cool variety of stuff that a lot of more modern collectors are interested in. He had some gorgeous ball joint dolls. However, his anime collection is amazing and really impressive!! Those pups are so cute and well behaved.

Paul is a great display artist, he really needs his own unique store

If you and or Paul haven't seen it yet, you should watch Rozen Maiden. It's about 7 sister bisque dolls fighting to the death to see their dad and become the perfect doll called alice. It's very beautiful and what got me into dolls.

Phenomenal! I'm looking for a display cabinet or two that will allow me to display dolls and protect them from so much dust. I love Paul's collection so much, dolls and other things. Very inspiring!

Question for Paul, The Star Wars franchise is now part of Disney and you love Disney Princesses. I noticed you don't have Princess Leia in your collection? Do you like Princess Leia? Would you consider collecting Princess Leia Dolls? Asking because I love Princess Leia and collect her. I also collect Geisha Dolls and loved seeing your Japenese doll collection. You should also check out Little Apple Dolls. I recon they would be your style. .
