Your right, those fairies are beautiful! I have the blue one, but I still need the pink one and purple one. The fairies and mermaids that came out back then were so detailed and pretty. The Magic of the Rainbow Lumina, Sunburst, and Glee fairy dolls are also some of my favorites.

Yeees more dolls of the world! It's been so fun watching this particular collection of yours grow. As far as the fairies, I think there is something to be said for the fact that older basic playline Barbies were made with better materials than current ones. Like if we compare basic barbies with molded pieces being made now to these- they've got multiple materials in the skirt, better hair, and all that glitter? And they actually have some creativity even though the designs are still simple. And what a fantastic mermaid! Thinking of some of the more durable silicone made now it's a shame no one has revisited this style of tail with updated tech/materials. Such an innovative doll. And the hair 😍

That is the coolest mermaid Barbie ever! I love mermaids too but I rarely buy any because of the stiff tails these days. I love the dolls of the world line too. I don't have any yet though. The fairies are so pretty too. Your excitement over getting these is awesome! I can't wait until I can afford to buy back some more of my childhood dolls!

I love all these dolls. I have my original Fairytopia sparkle fairies. They are so pretty. I'll have to get mine out but I'm pretty sure the sparkle wings face inward.

I love that sparkles get everywhere too!! Before I was a mom I used to do lots of music festivals every summer. I’ve had multiple different partners tell me after I would come over they would find sparkles around their place for DAYS. It made me feel like a fairy lmao 😂 ✨

I wish Barbie mermaids would be able to sit I think some in dreamtopia do but def not the color reveal ones. Def wish Mermaze Mermaidz sat better still hilarious to me that they have a car 😂🧜‍♀️. Love fairy 🧚‍♀️ dolls as well 👍👍👍

I would let the Princess of Ancient Greece keep her hard hair as it is. If you successfully redo it, post your results. Pretty doll. It was the Barbie dolls of the world that got me so interested in Barbie as an adult collector.
