The bird feeder idea blew me away. It's so clever. I thought u were making a candle with the mug and using the plate as a cool looking backdrop for it. I actually think I'm going to try that. Thanks for the inspiration. So many projects I see make perfect sense to me, like it's so obvious, but I couldn't in a million years have come up with them. 🙂
@CountryLilyDIYDecor this is random, but I kept thinking "man I wish My hands were as pretty as hers." 🙂 They aren't, and they show all the 56 years of living I've done. It's all good, tho. With my eyesight not what it used to be, maybe I won't see the lines on my hands as clearly either 😉
I made this bird feeder 3 years ago. I didn't use the little blocks, but e6000 glue and it has still held up, this will be 3rd summer, like 80 degrees and all through winter, etc.😊
Squirrel 🐿🐿need ❤️ ,too! I put a variety out so everyone gets a little something. Different kinds of feeders help provide options for the birds that are crowded out of the feeding area by the squirrels who may visit. Some mornings i have 6 at a time,, along with a while slew of other backyard birds ..Cardinals, Blue Jays, Woodpeckers , Brown Thresher, Doves. I have families that come season after sesson and love nealry all....they hear the screen door and come from all around I DO get aggravated with greedy mobs of birds like crows and greckles (sp?)... but they're all looking for something to eat. I'm from the central east coast of Florida, where many people have been moving to, and acres upon acres of natural habitat are being decimated for mega apartment buildings 😱😢
Oh I feed the squirrels and the birds. I just don't want to make something that is breakable. 1 squirrel knocks on my door when he wants fed. He gets so close I am afraid he might try to come in my house.
These were all so clever! The one that really got my ideas flowing, was the hot air balloon. I’m thinking that maybe the fairy lights used in the mushroom, could be glued around the “balloon” in order to light that up as well?? I’m so glad that you used the food coloring with the mod podge on the glass. I have a scent diffuser that was a gift, but the coloring is too bright for my liking. I still want it to be very translucent, and have been looking into the see-through spray paints. This idea will allow me to not only make the glossy finish matte, but to also make the color I want! Thank you for the inspiration. It is much appreciated!
All of the projects are beautiful, Barbara. If I had to pick a favorite, I would say the galvanized look planter. Thank you for sharing your amazing ideas.
That mod podge is water soluble so when it rains it will all run off. They do make an outdoor mod podge and it works very well. I’ve seen the paint and all run off an outdoor project. That’s how I know. Super idea. I’m gonna try a few with purple and pink bowls.
I LOVE this video, absolutely LOVE it 💕💕💕. I have seen soooo many "outdoor" videos recently but this is by far, my favorite. I've tried to "galvanize" many times & just did not like it but yours is beautiful. It's a different technique than I've seen anyone else do so I can't wait to try it again now. I also love mushrooms so that's a for sure thing I'll try & the hot air balloon is going to be "duped" from you no later than tomorrow. One of my daughters shared a dream she has on her bucket list just this week with me that involves a hot air balloon so I literally CAN NOT WAIT to try this to give her for her flower garden as a reminder of that dream until it comes true 💕💕💕. I really enjoy all the birds & that cup & saucer is just another cutsie way for me to feed them. You really nailed this for me, almost like you made this video for me. Thank you Barbara for all you share & the inspiration you give as well as the terrific job you always do to make your projects look so beautifully made. They always look store bought, you are an AMAZING crafter. Sorry for writing a novel but you asked what I thought so I decided to let you know 🫣😊.
Thank you so much Carla❤️ Perfect timing to make a mini hot air balloon. I hope your daughter’s dream comes true. I truly enjoyed reading your comment. 🤗🥰
Your video is a goldmine of inspiration for anyone looking to spruce up their outdoor area on a budget. I appreciate how accessible and easy-to-follow your DIYs are.
Never thought about using food colourings to Mod glue! Brilliant idea 💡 Love your mushroom! If I were to put it in the garden l think I would use small gravel to put in the vase to keep the weight down of the mushroom and put the lights around the inside of the mushroom. Love your balloon,so cute 🥰 it would make a lovely gift for for mums and dads who have had babies and to hang up on the ceiling in their bedroom..Good idea with the cake tin and best of all your projects they don’t take long to make, this is my first video of yours and looking forward to watching other projects you make. ❤
Cute ideas mushrooms light and hot air balloon. 😊 I think the planter is my favorite. Thank you for sharing and have a great Summer 😊 I all most forgot the Bird feeder was very creative too❤
Firstly I💙Love the mini hot air balloon😀what a great idea! then your cake pan arrangement🌿and your bird🐦feeder is so pretty and cool then mushroom🍄🟫 I really like All of them but just in that order😊
I have done the bird feeders like that before. My ones are from thifting pot lids, maskn jars and using chicken feeders. You can do also do water dispenser with those items.
I came across your channel while looking at what RU-vid had on its platform. Your projects are all different from anything I’ve seen on any other channel. I will subscribe and see how I like your future and past projects to see if I like them.
These are all so cute. I love the little hot air balloon. You have a Great Imagination and Creativity also. Thank You for sharing Your talents with Us. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.✝️🙏🏽😊👍🏼👋🏼
I really love the mini hot air balloon craft idea. That's really awesome and I just love how you came up with that idea. But all of them are wonderful as well.
I would fasten the teacup to the s hook as it can easily slide around width the weight of any bird and all the seeds would spill out. Cut idea, but I would go one step further and glue the S hook to the handle.
