I have my rulers and templates, hung through just the hole on the back of my door, with command hooks. The ones that didn’t have hole I simply drilled holes to hang them from. I also used a markers to draw around them and wrote the size down on the door. I then know where they go. I’m terribly disorganized. But my rulers look awesome.

I use two command hooks attached to my wall or door, then i use a dowel onthe hooks. To hang my rulers i use "s" hooks through the hole in the ruler and hang on the dowel. It is easier to find the one i want.

I have more templates than I will acknowledge to having 🫢 and a short while back I had a light bulb moment (for me!). I have been buying the Command Hooks with the little wire hook because the hook fits perfectly through the holes in my rulers. I’ve been attaching the hooks to the front of my fabric cabinets but this doesn’t work for some of the larger ones - and it just hit me thst I can out these bitter iMessage in the back if the door to the closet and in the door to the room I use for sewing!!!! And these Command Hooks will hole more than one template since I seem to forget when I have and purchase another one or two more! A few hooks now have 3 of the same template!!! Thanks for the hint though about those stretchy hair things as I might use them for other things or for the larger templates rulers I don’t use as often as others!

That's what I used to do as I mentioned in the video however fabric strips don't allow me to cut all the way around a template - I would cut through the strip if I didn't first remove it. Not so easy to undo those knots that I've put in the fabric strips!

I have my iron on a silicone iron pad that came with another iron many years ago. I also use a cork mat under it from Ikea.
