Unfortunately, the Big Lots in my area got closed down. But I loved getting movies from there. They’re planning on putting a new one in a different location in my area, I just don’t know where or when.
I picked up Charlie Countryman based on one of your previous videos. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but your recommendations are usually pretty solid. 👍 Keep up the great vids!
I got resident evil apocalypse/resident evil extinction and doom 3 disc set in a steel book edition for £1 british sterling which is roughly $1.31cents i also got taxi driver with the extra features for 50pence british sterling both in a charity shop
I picked up Bronson last month at Dollar Tree (because I'm a big Nicolas Winding Refn fan), and I'm going back to Dollar Tree tomorrow to rummage through the DVDs/Blu-rays. I already own Foodfight (paid full price on Amazon two years ago).
Francis the talking mule , I use to watch those movies back in the late 80s on tv . Universal put that vol 1 out but it didn’t sell so instead of putting a vol 2 out , they put all the movies on a newer set .
In the UK we have Poundland which is our equivalent to Dollar Tree. We get Blu Rays and DVDs in there too. And recently they’ve started having video games. It’s pot luck what they get in to be honest - but sometimes you get some really good things; like I’ve gotten season 1 & 2 of the TV show Misfits, the Minions movie, Pans Labyrinth and so many more I could list.
fun video Shawn ... I remeber people telling me in 2014 that the Robocop remake was better than the original here we are 4 years later and they have copies of the movie for $1 at the Dollar Tree lol

Clint Eastwood had an early role in Francis in the Navy, but I think that is in the Francis the Talking Mule Vol. 2 set. I think Leonard Nimoy has an uncredited appearance in one as a football player before he was famous, I think it's Francis Goes to West Point. That was a good find, didn't see it in my area.
At 4:00, that was the League of Super Evil. Literally the opposite of League of Superheroes. Lol! (Not being rude, I’m just saying that I laughed pretty hard! Not a huge problem for me!)
Refn actually directed numerous films before Bronson. One that hasn't been released in the US is Bleeder with Kim Bodnia and Mads Mikkelsen. Brutal flick.
I picked up Moonwalkers and Burn After Reading on blu-ray tonight in North Carolina. I'm going to check out the one down the road from me tomorrow, maybe I can run across that Robocop as well, I wasn't a big fan of the movie but a buck for the DVD is worth owning at that price.
I love you Shawn but you should, as you mentioned in the last video, really treat the DVDs & BluRays better and stop throwing them around and forcefully stuffing them back in.
