DOLLAR TREE BEACH DECOR DIYS 2019 

You really nailed the theme. Your first piece was my favorite. Very clever usage of the clear cutting board

Bethany, as you were glueing the wood pieces I agree they need more to support them to make it easier to move. Put several pieces of cardboard boxes beneath your project. Glue the pan to it before adding the wood pieces. You can also turn the pan upsidedown trace it, then glue the same rope inside the line. You then have more surface to glue to on the sides at the the bottom and then again on the surface of the cardboard and the bottoms of the wood pieces. You could also use more than one piece of cardboard for additional stability. When all the wood pieces are glued on, cut the cardboard around them using an exacto knife or utility knife of some kind. Extra cardboard beneath the piece you've glued to will protect your work surface. You can add rope or shells to cover the edge of the cardboard. Just an idea. Thank you for all you do Bethany!

I am so happy to see the nautical DIY’s. I am a collage artist and use driftwood glued onto canvas with E-6000. I am now working an doing my living room wall with prints( octopus), collage’s that I have done, with dried pieces of kelp and empty picture frames. I’m excited to make this whole wall collage of the sea! ! More nautical please !!!

Bethany, I have only seen your country farm videos but, this one was excellent and so are your ideas. I grew up at the beach - went the first time in my mother's womb and have been going to the same beach since then and I am now 55. I actually grew up in farm country so what is now decorations to some was actually the way of life in our kitchens with milk cans and metal yellow colanders a bowl of fresh eggs on the counter, etc. I was so excited when I went to look at a condo to buy and walked in an the kitchen floor was brand new and white and black and of course you know I moved here. I collect Jersey cows so the floor matched all of them. But, I love your tray - I think that one is my favorite for this video and a close 2nd is the photo frames. The frames look like dune fence wood - but, your faux water idea is very cool in your tray. I went to a yard sale a couple of years ago and they had a large round glass piece and the woman never did anything with it and for a time I put it on top of a wooden round table but, it actually has ripples in it so glasses of coke, tea, etc wouldn't sit flat. Your idea got my wheels turning on making a tray and using that as the water with the ripples resembling waves. I have sea glass and shells, lots already on hand but, sand. In your little treasure chest you should go to the doll house section of a hobby store and buy some faux gold money and silver and fill it up in your chest to look like money. Also, string some mini pearls together and mini Mardi Gras beads together to resemble jewels. Your shelving system behind you always looks so cool. I would love that in my place but, what was once a huge condo has become very small. I am a collector of collections and each corner has a story to tell. I have my beach corner which is now growing into other areas of my home since going to Sanibel, Florida the last 2 Novembers. If you ever have the opportunity to go - go!! Go when there are what they call the soft tides in late Oct and November. That's where all the shell shack owners go to collect shells and then resells them for toooooooooo much money at places such as the Jersey Shore and Ocean City, MD. The shells you find for free will blow your mind. On my balcony I decorate with shells too on my little coffee tables, on top of the dirt in my flower pots. I have drift wood displayed. I love nautical. I lived in Chicago for 8 years. I had nautical year round BECAUSE Lake Michigan is so big, it reminded me of the ocean and there were boats and sandy beaches or shores. Nautical can be lake living. Add warm cozy throws in a little darker beach colors. Besides, those long dark hours need brightening up. Enjoy.

That glass cutting board.... SOOO CLEVER!!! My living room has been decorated beach decor for a couple of years and I'm a good 15 hour drive from any beach. I just love beach!

I am redoing my bathroom with a beach 🏖 theme. We went on vacation to Florida 3 times within a year, the last time for a month and I fell in love with the decorations available. I am making most of them or tweaking what I have bought. Please make more like this as you are giving me some great ideas 💡.

Loved your tutorial ! I would like ANY CRAFT VIDEOS regardless of style . Beach isn't my decor however I found this video very helpful and gave me ideas fory own home . O might tweak dome of the crafts to suit my tastes . I loved the hurricane vases I thought you could use them in almost any decor even with a star fish or without . The Sea tray VIGNETTE is adorable I think I can use that in my drcor with a few tweaks . The framed seashell art was lovely as well ,Thank you once again ! I think these ideas are also perfect for those that have a beach house or Lake house inexpensive decor for your beach rental or vacation home .
