You are so creative! You should consider starting a “dollar store DIY party decor & setup” for like a main table. That would be so cool and so helpful for us that love to host fabulous parties on a budget. Give my comment a thumbs up if you agree and hopefully Bethany can start a series!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Oh my gosh why have I never thought to "steal" the batting out of a Walmart pillow I have on hand to fill my cute pillowcase I have. This is the best idea I've ever heard of 😍
Oh my goodness!!! I had picked up two of those Dollar Tree trees a few weeks ago, with the intention of making two little trees, but now I need to go back and get a few more, because that idea was genius!!! Thank you Bethany for all of you DT farmhouse DIY's. Keep them coming!!
Girl you rocked this one..... I love everything you do but this is one of my new favorite ones....can't wait to see the next one..... You have great talent....keep it up....
Yeah! 13K likes! More DT Christmas DIYs coming! You are a genius, Bethany. Sticking two of those little Christmas trees together is amazing. And getting polyfill from a pillow rather than buying it from the craft department - I'm speechless. Can't believe I've been crafting for 51 years and have never thought of that. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to more.
I have watched so many dollar tree decor videos and NONE of them were as good as this! I'm so impressed with how nicely these turned out and how EVERY item was from the dollar tree.
I just scrolled down looking for more of your DIY crafts, I almost don't want to watch because I don't think I know enough people to give these craft projects to. I love all of your ideas. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
I don't think it's too early to do Christmas DIYs because when you go to get the items that you need they're sold out. I think the earlier the better because you have a better chance to find the things you need to be able to do the DIYs. All the diys were beautiful. 😊
Beautiful Yule ideas... I bought some red checked homespun on clearance at Wal-Mart about 2-3 years ago and ripped a piece into small strips that I tie to the branches... I collect pine cones which I bake and dip in cinnamon and hang from my tree with cookie cutters bought on clearance hung with twine... This year we will make homemade snowflakes and flowers with toilet paper and paper towel rolls... My granddaughter loves to decorate my tree with her Daddy and Mommy... Thought you could use some of my ideas... BTW... Cookie cutters are the tin kind... And of course I ways buy birds for my tree every year so that I can have collection of different ones from the Dollar tree... 💖💖💖💖💖
Honestly I want to see some fall decor for like Thanksgiving. I still haven't decorated my house for it because my house is full of halloween stuff. I want to see some glam fall decor please. Really enjoyed your Christmas video specially the tree.
Girl you are good! The tip about buying a bed pillow and using the stuffing from it to stuff the small pillow is fantastic!! Kudos to you! That stuffing gets really expensive so you taught this decorator something new!! God bless you and keep the videos coming!🎅🏼🤶🏼🎄❄️⛄️💯👏🏼❤️
loved everything!! for the pillow a good idea would be to use Velcro to easily remove the ornaments. Glue one piece on the pillow and another on the ornament that way you can change the ornament if you want to and you can wash it too :)
Even if you sew it together (so it can be washed in the machine), the velcro is going to stick to the pillow unless you make sure to put the fuzzy side attached to the pillow.
I like them all but I think it's a toss-up between the Christmas tree and the wall hangings. Also, fabulous tip to buy the inexpensive pillow from Walmart for the stuffing!! Thank you! I've may have to pass on that information on my channel as well! Great job as always!!
Bethany you are very creative. I LOVE ALL OF THEM !!!🎄🎅🔔❄ I am going to the DT to get all these supplies 😂 😂 😂 😂 . Keep making more videos....I love what you do. 😍😍😍
The incense holders would make perfect skis. If you wanted to use them as skis that would be a cute winter decor! Criss cross them and then make ski sticks with the barbecue sticks!
i checked out those incense burner too....but I already have one almost identical from WM for years. and you always see them at yard sales for a quarter. But of course never thought about a DIY project... duh
You’re so smart! I never would have thought to buy a pillow for stuffing! I have used stuffing all my life but I have been so upset about the price the last few years. You are a joy! Thank you for your great ideas! Blessings!
DIYing and actually decorating for Christmas are 2 different things! Most of my decor is DIY so I'm definitely snatching up Christmas decor and DIYing now. I have said this before but you must have the worlds best Dollar Tree next to you because the ones next to me have almost none of this stuff😂 Also you should get a cheap sewing machine. I got one and can see a straight (ish) line which means I can see pillows that can be washed 😂 ❤Much love to and your freaking awesome DIYS ❤ -Megan
Left over scarf would have made a great background for owl boxes and they would coordinate. Never to early for Christmas diy videos. Supplies will be gone! Love your videos!
Bethany, you’re amazing!! I love all these DIYs (and I’m not even that crazy about buffalo check plaid) lol The framed pictures is SO cute!! And the Christmas tree - wow - great job! I thought about trying something like that but I didn’t have confidence I would like how it turned out, but yours looks AMAZING for a dollar tree tree. 😍🤗😘❤️🎄
I love the framed pic and trees too! I just left a comment about those trees, bc they are so easy to work with, and hold paint well! I cut mine down tho, to make the old vintage looking feather trees. But, I have to paint them to make them look more realistic looking. I use different brown & green acrylic paints, and they hold up awesome! 😊

Is there a way to sanitize the fill? I've tried the dryer before and it fried it up! I just CAN'T use pre-owned bedding and fill without knowing I've cleaned it somehow.
@@signs-everywhere8170 i thought of doing that before but figured used pillows probably have tons of dust mites and skin cells and possibly pet dander, other allergens and who knows what else in them from the previous owners. I decided to pass.
I am not on the farm house band wagon either, but do love how inspirational Bethany is. I am a coastal cottage person myself but also enjoy whimsical pet Christmas décor for my small "pet tree"
I think she purposely did it that way so she could have a little bit of trim to attach the ribbon decor. But I usually glue with fabric glue on the opposite side then turn right side out like you said.
TFS... you are so crafty. I cant wait to see how your wedding turns out. I have said it before, but I think its awesome how you and Matt are so economically minded. A lot of ppl your age want it all and want it now (and many expect it to be given to them). Keep doing what you are doing and you will have a great life together. Thanks again and yes, more Christmas DIY's please ? God Bless!
Well Girlfriend, you definitely made me think outside the box!! That’s ingenious....incenses burners as frames....you outdid yourself!! Love you and your channel!!
I love the pillow especially because I picked out the same scarf's going to use them as table runners so I taught now I have to make that pillow to match it. Thank you Bethany for all you do so fun.
I'm so excited!!! I live in a semi -upscale neighborhood and I've wanted to flank my door with two Christmas trees like this but Girl!!!! I'm not a millionaire. So I'm gonna make these Christmas Trees!!!! I hope I can find water and snow proof stuff for it Love this Christmas video Can't wait for the next one Love you Love your channel
