I made a similar pillow. Last year I did the snowman on one side and the fall leaves on the other lasted through two years and it was reversible. Flip to snowman affer Thanksgiving and I kept it out until Valentine's day hahaha I love universal decor.
I am short on storage space, so I love your idea. I think I will Velcro one end of my pillow, so that I may use the fillers in other diy pillow cases. thanks for sharing your clever idea. Blessings to you and your family.

I just came across this video and I love it for several reasons. She is quick and right to the point without all the blah blah blah of following her, liking, commenting, etc. Her quick tutorial was direct and looks easy to do. I've done the pillows before but I buy the placemats that are double sided and open up in a corner, stuff, and glue back together and voila, instant, cute pillow. 👍
The garland on your mantle was beautiful. For those who might not know, you can get doweling in various thickness, cut to whatever length you want at the hardware store, and it's cheap. We use them as our budget curtain rods!

That lantern idea was BRILLIANT!!! Quick tip: If you make anther one, use a cutting knife or an exacto and make it next to the stove, hopefully you have a gas stove. Heat up the blade and it will go through that plastic a lot easier.

Very clever and nicely done. For the lantern the only thing I would do differently is to have used wooden balls for the ends of the dowel instead of the styrofoam balls. At any rate you always have such inspiring projects.

Super cute décor. The lantern was a beautiful DIY and so budget friendly. And I love the placemat pillows. Try heating your knife with a lighter to get through the plastic easier and maybe it won't crack but you couldn't tell anyway. Great idea removing the glass. It was gorgeous.
I love this video. I made those pillows two weeks ago. When I first saw those placemats I was like PILLOW 🥰 I really wanted Christmas pillows but I didn’t wanna spend 10-15 on each pillow. So dollar tree/ 99 cents store made it happen for me this year 🥰😍
A good idea to cut a hole in the planter would be to use a dremmel if you have one on hand! Or even heating up a screw driver or pin with a lighter or candle flame. Super cute ideas!!! I always love your diy videos
