I have no idea who will want this but quick tip. If you use the metal strainer she has. Press your spinach in it with a bowl on the bottom of the strainer to collect the juice. Take the juice and add it to ice cube tray then use the cubes in green smoothies! Might not taste exactly like spinach but it's added nutrition for the smoothie 👍
Been watching her for a while. Love a lot of the recipes and we have made them mostly successful. I swear she's just the sweetest thing and so talented at what she does.
Thanks for thinking outside of the box, sharing the nutrition facts, budget friendly-meals, giving your honest opinion on taste, and the variation ideas. Loved it! Gonna try all of these recipes.
I am a big pizza person. I am usually in a hurry and I normally use a Walmart or Aldi's pizza as my base. But I discovered a great cheese blend that you might want to try. I use Swiss, Cheddar, and provolone. I take blocks and put them in my food processor to save time on using my grater. I def have to try some of your ideas out!
@@DollarTreeDinners I love your videos and girl you seem like the sweetest ! I am trying to get caught up on all your previous videos, you certainly have given me some great ideas 💕
I'm sitting in a hotel in Tijuana as I watch this, about to return home from getting a gastric bypass done at Mexico Bariatric Center. Videos like this are a big help for me, because I like seeing what other people who've gotten gastric surgery are now able to eat. Keep 'em coming, Rebecca! :)
Hi Allison! I had it in Tijuana MX at Mexico bariatric center with Dr Valenzuela. Most of my old videos are private but if you are interested here is a link to my surgery day vlog ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kIiMndPLh_A.html
A lot of pizza places use sliced or diced mozz but any softer cheese shreds easier if you freeze it for an HR or so.. even cheddar shreds easier with a quick trip to the chill chest. I think that alfredo sauce and spinach would make an awesome dip if it was just a little thicker, maybe with some sour cream and extra Parmesan cheese.. can you ever have too much parmesan?
I made 2 flavors on 1 of the large pizza crusts from dollar tree. Half was chicken bacon ham Alfredo pizza and the other one was pepperoni and ham bacon mushroom pizza. They were both really good. I did get a few things at Walmart but most at dollar tree
That spinach Alfredo Pizza looks really good! I've been curious about how the dollar tree pizza crusts taste but haven't had the chance to try them yet.
I have never seen frozen soinach at my Dollar Tree. We do have the meatballs, however and even though the Lakeview cheese has gotten smaller in the last year, it is actually some of my favorite cheese. I bought some Monterrey Jack at the grocery store, to compare, and the Lakeview had a better taste.
Hi Rebecca, I jumped into the wayback machine and started watching your content from the beginning. Since you did season and fry the frozen veggies I was asking myself why you didn't do the same with the canned mushrooms. If you fry mushrooms in butter, add any needed salt and or pepper and an herb to combine with your dish (anything will do, parsley, paprika, thyme, oregano, rosemary, whatever you like best, just a pinch) you'll find your final dish will be improved by this little detour. Italy Spain and Mexico share a lot of the same herbs and spices...to turn an italian meatball into a mexican one I'd just add some chili powder (cumin coriander and chilies) Enjoyed the video say Hi to michael and see you all in the next one Jim
Taco pizza at Casey's, mix refried beans with some taco sauce, spread onto crust, add beef and onions and top with mozzarella. Bake and then put cheddar cheese first, lettuce, tomato, small amount of cheddar again and then some crushed Doritos.
I really enjoy watching this after seeing your most recent videos. This was really good. You have grown so much in your presentation style. (Can you tell I’m a teacher?!) also, I really appreciate that you no longer include calorie information. Bravo
With BBQ pizzas, I find if you spread a thin layer of the BBQ sauce and then top it with the toppings and cheese it tastes better than mixing the toppings in the BBQ sauce. You can always dip your slice in BBQ or drizzle more on your slice if you want more, but if there's too much to start it's hard to get past.
I think that one thing we tend to do is put too much sauce on pizza. My kids went to Italy and they said there were very minimal toppings, particularly sauce, on the pizzas and they really loved it. Working with the dollar tree ingredients, you’re going to have some hits and this is just because of that fact. Sometimes there’s no difference in the ingredients and sometimes there’s a huge difference. I moved overseas and learned how many variations of cheddar and mozzarella there truly are. FYI, I do not like mozzarella that’s made here in Arabia. There is also a lot of faux cheese. They are not so good about warning you when they’re giving you fake cheese whether you’re ordering it from the grocery store or on a pizza.😬. I am not a cheese snob, but I am a cheese lover and not all cheeses are created equal.
You are making more work for yourself with the spinach defrost in microwave and use the strainer and run cool water then squeeze by hand :) saves on laundry ;)
Hi, new here. I never knew Dollar Tree sold thin crust pizza dough! Also Im pretty much old style when it comes to pizza. The spinach mushroom Alfredo one looked delicious. I know it wasn't your favorite but I like a lot of garlic so I'm sure for me that would be the trick. The Mac n cheese made me gag!
I have a cheese grater attachment for my kitchen aid but I don’t use it for most videos as it makes my content more accessible for folks who can’t afford to splurge on the convenience of a fancy cheese grater :)
I wish my dollar trees had more food items they have a ton of snacks and candy but food OT really they do have a freezer section but mostly TV dinners I do buy the frozen fruit because it’s a great deal. I normally pay $3 for the same exact thing so it saves me like $4/wk may not sound like a lot but that’s $208 a year saved
I am a relatively new subscriber and have watched several of your videos. I decided to go back and watch your earliest videos, and this is the first time I have seen you give the calorie counts for the recipes. I wish that you would do that every time, I am counting calories and it would be great to know. Thanks!
I'm pizza - conservative lol, and my only thing ist here are too many toppings. I'd for example to a jalapeno - mozzarella pizza but not with the mac and cheese as well on top...
i used to love cee cee's pizza before they closed down in my area. when they would say cee cee you real soon as you were leaving used to crack us up every time.
Bac'n bits are actually vegan. Sorry if you have heard that 1000 times but a vegetarian cannot have the mac n cheese pizza, but the culprit is the boxed Velveeta, not the bac'n bits
My store has 3pcs of real bacon in the refrigerator section instead of using bacon . Bits for the first pizza you made .. I'm not sure if yours in your area has bacon in your refrigerator section though . For the 2nd pizza I add garlic powder addedv a can of dollar tree chicken after I sauteed it and add it to the 2nd pizza ,
thanks for the ideas! id love to see a "progressive" challenge where you take dollar tree items like the ,mac and cheeze or a taco kit and split it up to make 2 meals from one type of meal box kit
