I really enjoyed this even though we do not have Dollar Tree, Michaels or Dollar lobby here in Australia. I,ve made something similar but finished the top with a shorter silver wire edged ribbon to allow clear view of the inside. This was very smart and also cut those points on the ends which adds to the final presentation.

Lovin this sooooo much! I've seen one made out of a wire garbage can from the dollar tree (Farmhouse style). This is much more elegant. Tfs!

If you don't want a permanent bond with the ornament and the bottom of the apothecary jar, you can pick up velcro dots with adhesive backing and put one on the ornament and its partner on the glass. When you want to switch out, it's easy to remove and if you want to remove the velcro dot, the residual adhesive is easily removed with acetone nail polish remover.

You could put in a string of fairy lights too in the top to make it look starry or snowy. They have them at my local Dollar Tree.

Love it, I already have made the bottom last year, I just sit candles on . I also have the tall vase but made it into a candle holder and for flowers. To dollar tree get case, tomorrow to glass jar, already have candle holder. And love that little house inside gotta fine it. Thanks for sharing

I've probably watched a thousand of these videos and most of the time people leave the ornament loop on the top. It should be removed because it never fails to instantly cheapen the entire project. This is a great DIY, very creative and well done but that damn loop screams $ Tree!! Merry Christmas, Everyone!

I liked the addition of a top from a jar rather than a knob. And that you said it was dollar tree to. My DT's SUCK. Hard to find stuff. This one I can do. When I said nice job I meant , you did a good job. I thought the obitz were just funny
