I've been trying, unsuccessfully I might add, to recreate the square and round mirrors. You seriously are quite talented. I've watch this video multiple times. Got everything I needed. And began. Ran out of rope, burned my finger, glued the rope to frame in error. Mine look like a monkey made them. But I'm no quitter......I went right back to the Dollar Tree today. Got another square and round mirror. But had to get rope from a hardware store. Paid .49 per foot for 30 ft. That rope was too stiff and shiny. Bought 50 feet of Sisul rope. That rope shed all over. My desk looked like a dog grooming station. I'm going to try again but have to get the rope from the Dollar Tree in another town. Our DT is too small to carry the rope. Yes girl, I think they fit a lot of decor styles! When I was titng this video I originally had typed coastal, rustic, boho, farmhouse and I stopped because it was getting ridiculous 😂 I just put farmhouse because that is my "norm" I'm glad you found some inspiration & much love to you Kelsey ❤ -Megan
I recently watched a great video by DIY cottage and she made a rug using ropes from dollar tree. I recreated the rug and love it but I was left with lots of rope and no ideas for using it... until I found your videos. Thank You so much for inspiring me and I’m thoroughly enjoying your humour. I made the circle mirror and did sailor knots on both sides with a loop at the top to hang. I also added some sea shells from the coast and it is in my beachy bathroom. Super cute. Loved all your rope ideas!

My favorite is actually the "home" rope that is so simple but so awesome! Thank you Megan for helping those of us who don't have a ton of money (and even those that do)for decor, but showing us ways to still make our homes beautiful 😊

Love these! I just bought almost 60 feet of rope from Pat Catans with their going out of business sale for $1.50! Now I can use them to make these great diy's.
Craft stores. Hobby lobby. Michaels. It comes in many colors. I use it a lot. I’ve done the same as you did with the dollar tree wire basket in different colors with macrame cord. Years ago I used it for the trendy plant hangers in the 70s. Lol. It comes in different mm’s. Thin or thicker. I swear by it in many of my crafts especially if I also use matching fabric.

Love the pizza pan chalkboard & mirrors! A couple years ago I made a name sign for someone using rope. I wish I could have used DT rope, since it's more flexible than what I used. Our DT got in the 13 ft. rope, so I grabbed some. 😉
