🗣**Project Update: If recreating this project, DO NOT use the Dollar Tree foil paper. This paper does not hold up over time!
For this project, here’s what I picked up from the #DollarTree :
- (4) Hard Cover Books
- (5) Diamond Wraps (to make all 4)
- **Foil Wrapping Paper (**See update above)
- Acrylic Paint (or use spray paint)
- Mod Podge
- Sponge Brushes
- Fix All Adhesive (optional)
🗣Tips:
For the diamond wrapped books, consider sealing the book pages with the mod podge first, and then spray paint or paint the book white.

I,too, would love to see your home in a video one day, Denise. I am more of a rustic, industrial girl than glitter and glam, and you are so right about using materials suited to one's own taste, but your videos are so inspirational and your instructions so thorough, that you make it easy for anyone to feather their nest with beautiful and unique hand-crafted items. My favorite yet! Of all the Dollar Tree glam DIYs, this is my absolute favorite, especially for dollar tree books that I bought but couldn't really get into. Ugh, I cannot describe how in love I am with these!

I like that. This is a great idea to expand into a hidden storage! Open book and use a skill saw to cut out a square. Then modpoge the ends. The cavity can be used for small items: spare keys, the remote, etc. I love watching your channel... finally subscribed!!
