Bloody Bites - how gruesome, but kids probably loved it. Those black Bon Bon Booms seem intriguing. Thanks for pouring the haul in a bowl - it all looks so good.
I have a HUGE obsession with these candy hauls! I'm a Type 1 diabetic so most of my Halloween candy goes in the trash, Because i have to eat it in portions.. Instead of sitting down and eating it all.. It makes me happy seeing other people enjoy candy! Great haul ;)
The end is so me. One bowl for me.. No bowl for trick or treaters..mainly because there aren't any kids in our neighborhood lol I enjoy your videos, all of them...you're so calming. When I feel stressed or anxious you calm me down..thank you.
My daughter has loved dots candy forever! Shes 15 now, but still always gets a box at the movies. Loving this haul, I hope my DT has the black lollies!
I love when you hold the package and squeeze it and get it really close to the microphone, I'm using a sound bite on repeat for my Halloween noise this year.
I like Dots, but my favorite of the ones you hauled here were the Crunch bars and the candy bracelets. I use to always get those when I was a kid...and I am 53! :)
My boys (7 & 4) love the dots! They also get super excited for trinkets other than candy. I'd say the only one they dont care for is the ones that come in orange and black wrappers and are chewy caramel things. Those old school candies I cant ever remember the name of........
I loved your video as always. I don't ever get trick or treater's but I always stock up on candy....uh... just in case! Great haul & I'm looking forward to the next one.
I bet the kids are going to love the freaky candies! Nice idea to package them in the Halloween baggies. I'm waiting for the Christmas wrapping videos, and the Advent calendar type thing that you did for your daughter. :)
Cvs has great deals on candy! I got 6 bags of candy for $9.11! I got milky ways, milky way caramels, 2 Reese's cups, kit Kat, and 3 musketeers. I combined manufacturer coupons and extracare coupons for six 11 ounce bags!
This is funny because every time I watch your videos, my husband says you sound like Winona Ryder so that's what he calls you.."that Wynona girl" hahahha
If you are, then I am too! I get such comfort watching hauls, I think because I'm an under-spender and never allow myself to really splurge, so I really enjoy living vicariously through her! And this candy one... possibly my favourite! :)
Here's a little warning. I started doing the goodie bags 4 years ago and my trick-or-treaters doubled every year. Word travels fast. I went from 50 visitors to 250 in 4 years. I kid you not. I even had a small bus visit from another neighborhood. For me, this was great. I love kids and a love Halloween plus my house is always decorated which attracts moms. Good luck and have fun.
I love your intros and outrés. 💖 Your videos are relaxingly fun and hilarious. I totally love these new black lollipops at DT. Had the second one in my mouth on my prep, then office informed me of a parent there for a conference, which secretary says she forgot to tell me over a week ago. Black tongue (and gums) indeed! My kids love the Dots, and they're teens. Of course, they want some Bloody Bites now. TFS💖☠️🎃
Love the candy haul....I got some of the bites too...will be going back for more...for now I have to go see what else I missed getting ...Thanks for sharing
Oh I wish we'd only get 40 some trick or treaters!! I would love to make up little goodie bags like this. They are so fun and cute to do. We get anywhere from 400-450 kids every year! We are in a nice neighborhood outside of the city. Our houses are tight together so they just go up one side of the street and down the other. It's a circus!! It gets so crowded in front of our house at different points that my husband and I are furiously trying to put candy in each kids bag!! We enjoy it though. My husband has all these crazy decorations for Halloween that he puts inside and outside of the house. We've been living here 17 years and only ran out of candy maybe twice. I do a general count of the candy before we give it out so we know about how many kids we had. Only had a couple of years where weather was an issue.....cold and windy one time and a few rainy ones but for the most part it always seems to cooperate!!
Weighing in on Dots. I used to eat them as a kid and one day had a craving so I bought myself a box and found that my palate had totally changed. I think a younger kid would be fine with them, but as for me I'd moved on to the more 'sophisticated' Haribo bears, of the gummy candy varieties. LOL! As a side thought, parents may not want kids eating the boxed dots, since the packaging is not tamper free. Last, I have also heard comments that you remind people of Wynona. So you DO look like a beatle juice character, just not the one you think ;)
OMG! I did the same thing this year. I prepackaged the candy in those same bags. They look super cute. We have a ton of trick tr-eaters and I would give out handfuls of candy, but I would run out rather quickly, so I'm actually going to do this process every year, it eliminates the guess work on how many candies to give out. Love each and every one of your videos, by the way.
