Hi! This is awesome! You can give those books to a children's hospital for any holiday or "just because" it would cheer up the children. Or donate them to a daycare center. Just a thought. I donate to a family shelter.

I also LOVE those handmade cards at DT and I am always dropping hints to my Hubby about them.....but.....he never gets the hint. I am just going to get myself one!! :)

Another fantastic DT haul, I'm definitely looking for those flamingo plates, how cute, great idea for eating pizza or hamburgers or anything, instead of old plain white paper plates. Those books are really nice, I need those for my little granddaughter, she would love them. Thanks for sharing your great finds.

We picked up the books a couple years ago, and if you look the covers have all the stories; Cinderella has Rapunzels tower, etc.

For the fairytale books you can make purse, use the kids necklace as q handle . The pages you can make charms, costers, or laminate the illustrations and make bookmarks or dividers.

The plates can be cut up and used in pocket letters, friend mail etc. Just a thought : )

I tried the peppermint rosemary body butter and body wash and i absolutely LOVE them! It smells so good and it is totally worth $1! 10/10 on my book👍

I think it speaks volumes that DOLLAR TREE can carry products that are not animal tested, yet HIgh end expensive brands continue to test on animals in the US. My rescue beagle came from an animal testing lab. She lived the first four years of her life in a cage of horrors, never feeling grass under her feet or the kindness of anyone. You do not have to spend a lot of money to purchase products that are not tested on animals! Thank you for pointing this out in your video. Its an important issue close to my heart, and I look forward to the day when this abuse is illegal in the United states!

I went to DT today again hoping that they would have the deco tape this time and again they don't. I'm not sure if they will get in my location but I'm still hopeful. I recently started using the Happy Planner so I don't have a lot to decorate with but you have inspired me more than you know. Thank you for all you do! God Bless You😊

My Dollar Trees have the beautiful luau decorations, too. I went all-out with the flamingo decor for my stitch group next month; it's my turn to host and since we live in beautiful South Florida, very appropriate. Great haul! Thanks for sharing.

stitch group... as in cross stitch? I'm so jealous! I woukd love to get a stitch group going on where I live, but I don't know any other stitchers here locally :(

+MetalScrappinChick , Yes, a cross stitch group. We used to meet at a local shop, but when it closed almost 6 years ago, a core group of us wanted to keep in touch. We meet monthly at a different home and have a blast! If it wasn't for these great ladies, I wouldn't have any stitching friends either. I feel your pain!

/stunned by the photos at the end; /wishing Texas would annex Alabama or else share its Dollar Tree merchandise with us ... Everywhere I vacation, I now try to check out a Dollar Tree... Your stores just kicked Key West's and Savannah's butts. Unless they said, "Hey, that weird Daisycutter is gone! Okay, start stocking cool stuff," they did not have these the last two weeks. I'm going to my humble DT now, but my expectations are low.

Found two excellent Alabama Dollar Tree stores annexed by Texas. 😉 The one in the strip mall with all the parking lot shootings and hooliganism has things not in the other stores, but it never expanded bc it was the first DT in this huge metro area. It is still extremely small with only four short aisles. Stays packed. The other location's shopping mall has mostly car break ins and thefts and hold ups. That store has wide aisles and is well stocked. Store manager told me most transactions are over $100, so headquarters sends it a huge variety of items and plenty of them every week. I found everything except the ribbon tape between the two stores. 💖

I got the Peppermint Rosemary bath set to try the other day. The scent is pretty nice from what I smelled in the bottle of body wash. It is kind of like an aromatherapy type of scent, but not too strong. I only put on the body butter so far, and the scent seems to last a longer amount of time than other lotions I have tried from DT. I had some on my arm and could still smell it a few hours later. It isn't really watery but also not thick. It absorbs well. It really is a nice set for a dollar! :)

Aren't those boxes adorable? I saw someone haul a crap load of them to be used as a favor for a shower or wedding. I thought that was a really great idea and favor. And I am so into the pink flamingos this year. lol I will definitely be looking for those plates.

I was going to buy the sachets then I got to thinking that why not use a scoop of the fragrance enhancer fabric softener beads , wanted it for my car , put it in organza bags, 6/1$ I think in the baby shower section at the DT worked very well and my car smells awesome .... now if I can find more of the yellow frag beads I'll be all set

I have the same problem! I took my husband the other day and spent $60! He said how can anyone spend that much at the dollar store. I told him I had restrained myself and could've bought way more things! Lol.. the dollar store is my happy place. Even if I buy nothing, just walking around in there and thinking of how i will spend money when I do get it relaxes me lol. I just have to make sure to go alone because I spend way too much time in there and every time I've taken anyone with me to shop they try to rush me through and I'm like hey! this is my therapy! :)
