U have the greatest 💡! I’ll be honest I lack the skill of figuring these out. I swear they r so easy and I would’ve never guessed! Thank u and keep em coming
Hey Meagan ❤ great ideas as always so going to get me some of those round cell phone knows only you would comebup.with that clever idea! Im also a fan of those stackables
Totally, I’m a teacher and I absolutely hate it when hack videos condescendingly say “I’m going to teach you…”, I never use that phrase with my students 💁🏻♀️
@dieuphuongvu5433 I like how she speaks as if she's having a conversation with us in person. A lot of How-To channels just narrate their actions. They just say "Now, I'm going to do this" or "Then I went back to do this" ... I can see what you're doing! Give me some helpful tips so I can recreate the look.
I laughed at the "proper grammar and a soothing voice"! I don't hear anything wrong with your voice or grammar. As a matter of fact, as soon as I see your videos pop up, I click right on them. You have a matter of fact way, a well modulated voice and who doesn't make an occasional mistake? It's part of being human 😊. I know I'll always enjoy your content, learn new things, and have fun while watching!
I use tissue boxes in my sock drawer--free organization. I cut the long, skinny Priority Boxes in half, covered them in Contac Paper--perfect size for cans and jars in my pantry. Empty checkbook boxes are perfect for pens and markers. I line drawers with wrapping paper (often from opened wedding, birthday or shower gifts) and replace when dusty. (By running the paper up the sides, the wood stays dust free. The inside of my drawers still look new after 50+ years.) I keep my pony tail elastics on a shower ring. Hair clips and brooches clip to yarn braids or thick ribbons. Headbands wrap around a protein shake container.
Moved from an almost 2000 square foot home to a 3 bedroom, 1200 square foot apartment. Thanks for some great hacks to help me out. Still up to my eyeballs in boxes but you helped give me a plan! Thanks Megan!!! ❤😊❤
It's been a long time since I've seen a Dollar Tree hack/organizer video where my jaw has dropped so many times because most or all of the hacks are ones I could actually use! 😆 Well done, thank you!
❤Hi Megan!! Thanks for all the great 💡 ideas!! The felt pads for the cabinet doors and drawers, genius!! My husband always says,"You get annoyed with me when I don't close the cabinets but also get annoyed when I do close them and I make noise!! Can't win!" Problem solved!! So many great hacks that I need to make a shopping 🛍️ list and rewatch from the beginning!! LoL 😂!! Have a great weekend 🤗🕊️ God Bless You 🕊️🙏 you and your family 💗
I just love your channel, Megan! You have so, so many great ideas!! I'm retired, but was getting a bit bored, so got a part time job at my local Dollar Tree!! LOVE IT!!! 💓💞💕
Not sure if someone already mentioned but use a blow dryer or heat gun to help loosen adhesive of those phone grips or off brand command hooks. So so happy your back with a video, miss your awesomeness ❤😊
I also appreciate how she shows what the item looks like in the store packaging or shows a picture of the item online screen. It's helpful to know what I'm looking for even if the item isn't in the section she said it would be found.
Love, love the office section organizer for cutting boards!! I live in a tiny apartment and they would be wonderful to corral my small cutting boards!! 😊 Thank you so much!!
I agree with you on the suction cups because I used them on my windows and my rod iron door that comes into my courtyard for memorial day and I’m leaving them up for Fourth of July. They’re holding up great and I live in Henderson Nevada where is very hot and been very windy and they’re going strong!
I was shocked was I went online to get a screen grab of the suction cups that they had a lower rating! I felt like I was going crazy reading the reviews, because I have bought name brand suction hooks that cost more and don't work as well as DT. I'm glad you've had good luck with the suction hooks as well. MUCH LOVE TO YOU, MY FRIEND ❤️ -Megan
Hi Megan! So happy you are posting more frequently again. Your tips and hacks are the best. Love your innovative ideas. Thanks so much for sharing. Blessings.🤎🤎
I love all your videos, but this one was particularly great. You gave us such good ideas for organization and storage. Thank you so much for taking the time to video all of your ideas.
This was wonderful! I usually don't make it all the way through organizational videos because I find that it doesn't relate to me and my specific needs but Thank you, this one did 100%.
Hi Meghan, I hope you are doing well, this video had loads of fantastic thinking outside the box storage solutions for things i have just sitting around my home that i bought thinking i would find a solution for and never have until now. So a big thank you for that. Great ideas! You rock!
I love all your videos!!! I have alot of storage space in my home; large walk-in pantry, 10 foot island, several linen closets. The main reason I love my Texas home! But I need help organizing "my stuff!" This video is a huge help to me!! Thank you and keep'em coming ❤
I recently put a few of those felt pads on the bottom (underside corners) of a couple of countertop kitchen appliances. It makes them so much easier to pull out, use, and move back out of the way. Also, I totally do the "sock trick" with the laundry bag; however, I hang clothes to dry in my apartment. Sorting in this way makes hanging go so much faster! So many great tips...I need to get busy, LOL! 🙏💜
Thank you so much for the ideas and hacks! I needed this so much right now 🙌 I’ve always loved your videos because you have fantastic ideas and your down to earth personality makes you easy and fun to watch ♥️
I agee about the heavy-duty suction cups. In my bathroom, the sink is too far from the towel rod. So I use one of these on the mirror. It's beyond helpful, and I don't drip water all over the counter. 5⭐️ FORSURE! Thanks for so many helpful ideas.💜
Agree! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ But I'm wondering if there was a bad batch sent to some stores or if the suction cups don't work in certain climates because even in this comment section people are split on the quality suction cups. I am truly baffled because I've bought multiple of the suction hooks and they all work great.
I’ve used a lot of your organization hacks and I’m going to use some of these too because everything I’ve used from your ideas has always worked for me ! Thank you for sharing them with us Megan !!! 👏💞👏💞
So many great ideas, but my biggest takeaway was the coffee stain. Why did I never think of that?! Thanks for the video, I've "saved" it for future reference because I always think I'll remember, but I never do, lol.
It's my favorite way to stain wood a slightly darker natural color. I have many DIY videos with more detailed tips on the best way to use coffee, but the gist of it is : 1. Hot coffee works best 2. stronger the coffee, the darker the stain 3. Soak wood for 25 -35 minutes 4. If you want a darker stain, let wood dry out and re-soak wood in coffee
@@GlueGunsRoses Thank you, this is very helpful! I don't drink coffee, but my husband does and sometimes gets some he thinks tastes like dirt, lol. Now i know what to do with it! One thing he discovered works with coffee grounds (out of desperation) is rubbing them on his skin to repel mosquitoes! He works on a golf course and was being plagued by them. He couldn't take it anymore and the grounds were all he had handy. He couldn't believe how well that worked.
@@georgiawild4332 Thanks for the coffee grounds tip for mosquitos! I think they're only partly right when they say "Necessity is the mother of invention." I think pretty often Necessity's sister Desperation gives birth to a few stellar ideas!
That hooks for cords idea is brilliant. I have a wireless charger, but I, also, have a cat that loves anything that looks like string to her. This is a nice way to hide it.
So many great ideas!!!! My favorite is the magnets for Bobby pins-I can never find mine!!! I’ll be using your ideas in my home and especially in my RV. 😊
This is my first time watching your channel, you have given me great ideas not for organizing my home but our RV the hook, magnet, etc ideas are great for keeping things from moving around when we travel.!! Thanks again!😊
Fabed Hacks has an AMAZING channel and great realistic organization ideas people can actually use. I also love how she explains her ideas and gives different options for items to use with her DIYs.
Love the idea about the laundry mesh bags. I have those for DIY in the garden, but I thought oh my goodness I can also use it for my socks when I do laundry😂 I love your idea about the little hooks for inside the kitchen cabinets shelving because I have those and you’re right they do slide and the over the hooks. They do scratch your door because mine is scratching and I’m gonna use that little hook idea. but I love the one the magnet hooks for washer for putting the fly swatter, and stuff like that. Great ideas as always.
Your videos are the most practical that I have seen. My daughter loves hats now I have a new idea to help organize them. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience.
My Experience with the DT laundry bags is that they are so cheaply made they don’t make it through more than a couple washes. It’s more cost effective to spend a little more and buy better quality. Great idea for socks!
My last house had no linen closets and no storage closet. Who is designing these houses!? When I was looking for a new house I told my realtor I wouldn’t look at any house without linen closets. Never again!
Same. If we ever move, I want multiple closets and a laundry room that's actually it's own room and NOT connected to our garage. I tell my husband this all the time.
Mine doesn't have a linen closet either, but a huge laundry room , I bought a cabinet to put in the laundry room for linens. This house is 5 bedrooms 2.5 baths no linen closet and only 1 car garage , but the kitchen is huge with lots of cabinets, large pantry and huge closets . I am getting married and moving next month and I am gonna miss all this room
@chadb3363 the house we lived in before didn't have a pantry so we had to use lower kitchen cabinets. It was harder to organize because it was harder to see what was on the back of the cabinets. Stuff like that makes me think that the people designing the homes are just adding what's legally required. Because seriously, how could someone forget to add a pantry?
Thanks Megan!! You alway have great ideas for DT hacks and I use many of them. Thanks for making my life easier. I am still looking for the acrylic ice buckets at my store and any stores I get to venture into. Some day it will happpen!!
Always love your organization & storage ideas, Megan! I bought some of the smaller under-bed storage containers to use as packing cubes for suitcases. Excited to try them out!
Shannon these are some great tips!! I love pop sockets as hooks that would be great for the rv. When you’re not using them they tuck away and much softer for the hubby when he bangs his noggin! 😂❤
Oh my! It must of been so scary for you both to see your precious little one go through this. Thank God it was quick and non-invasive. Good it was found and remedied!! All the best to you all!❤❤❤
I've got to stop "saving" your videos for when I can truly enjoy them! I watch most things at 1.5 x speed and often I'm multitasking. There are a very few channels that I will watch only on Normal speed and only when I can sit and devote my time to watching because I enjoy them so much and don't want to miss a moment or a word. Your channel is one of those. But this time, I saved it and it slid down in my Notifications and sort of got lost. 😢 Today it hit me that I'd seen there was a video from you and I came straight in to sit down and watch. Just wanted you to know that waiting almost a week before I watch doesn't mean I don't care - it means I love you! But I'm determined to watch at least on the same day from now on! ❤
Be sure to go back through and binge on her other videos. And prepare to be amazed at her beautiful crafting and decor videos. Her holiday videos are the very best out there, IMO. Simple and don't have that, "Look! I made it myself!" look.
