Hello Everyone! For those asking about the Hot Cocoa Bar Menu picture, I got it from SavvyDeysDesigns Etsy! It’s a download and print file. Here’s the link if you’re interested! I highly recommend. www.etsy.com/listing/465243595/hot-cocoa-bar-sign-printable-coffee-bar
I was in my local Dollar Tree yesterday a woman held up one of the bigger crates you used on the side and asked me if I knew where they were! We started talking and found that we were both making the hot chocolate bar in your video. I told her that I grabbed all of the packs of chocolate spoons in the store! I said you're going to need some of these and I grabbed a package from my cart and put it in her cart. (She said she only needed one pack. I would have shared more!) We saw each other again driving down the road we waved knowing we were on the same journey!
Bethany, this had got to be one of the most IMAGINATIVE, BEAUTIFUL and CREATIVE DIY'S you have ever done! 😍❤️😍 NO WONDER YOU ARE PROUD OF YOURSELF - I AM SO PROUD OF YOU, TOO!!! And doing it while SLEEP DEPRIVATION is sapping your energy makes you a SUPERWOMAN!!!!!!!!! Dust off your cape and tights, girl! YOU JUST BECAME A SUPER HERO MAMA!!!
I’ve been doing a cocoa bar for about three years now and never really had things organized quite right. Your idea is just what I need. I can’t wait to make it!
This will be my first Christmas in 3 years that I spending Christmas with my grandchildren. I definitely want a cocoa bar. They all love cocoa. I think this is a great option for me. Thanks for sharing.
Bethany, your cocoa bar is just lovely! Love the colors and all the festive flavors/add ins you put in the crates. I love hot chocolate, albeit sugar free! Thanks for sharing this Christmas treat idea.
These would be so cute to use in a classroom! I'd wrap everything in a little baggy, though. That way, snotty hands can't touch all over the other treats lol. This is so cute!!!
I think this is the most original and fun Cocoa bar I have seen in the three plus years I've been making one. My son has moved south and there is really not many folks here to use one but I think I will do it anywhere, only smaller...maybe focusing on coffee and chocolate coffees. That would be fun. Thanks for sharing. It's awesome!!
Oh my goodness Bethany, your coco bar is absolutely amazing! I love it! You did a beautiful job! I hope Cooper is doing well! I hope your wrist is healing well! As always thank you for sharing your creativity, talent and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy and positive! GOD bless you and your family! 🙏❤🇺🇸🌲
I loved this Idea!! Crafted a few for Christmas gifts~ Used one for a Wine bar gift, using the 6 larger crates, as each one holds 3 mini bottles of wine~ and 2 trays in the middle for holding the wine glasses! Second I made for a make-up organizer for one of my granddaughters ~ also using 6 larger creates and 2 of the divided trays in the middle Third was a Coco Bar...but again used trays in the muddle upside-down to add a hot water pot! All were a success!! Thank you so much for this idea
Defiantly doing this for Christmas eve night! Beautiful! I'm just gona switch it to grinch theme....and do some green hot 🍫 chocolate some whipped cream and green & red sprinkles!!! Definitely going to check our local dollar tree for those spoons and reindeer chocolates too! Super cute girl! Thank you for sharing you're creativity!
Beautiful the colors and the ideas, it’s so awesome to see how much you can do with the things purchased at a Dollar store to make them original and unique and saving some money at the same time . Thanks for sharing
this is so freaking adorable cant wait to make a version of it..cant go to dollar tree yet under quarenteen..my favorite topping whip cream with some chocolate
@@reneewinters5190 sorry to hear that Renee. Hopefully she will not feel the full effects. My oldest daughter is the healthcare field and had it once. She has been exposed several times. She was soooo sick. Prayers for your daughter and your family.
This is soo awesome you literally can use it for anything not just a coco bar, but a taco bar, loaded potato bar, hot dog bar and use those little dollar tree cups to put the ingredients inside the little crates ❤️❤️❤️
Use the clear contact paper from dollar tree instead of expensive transfer tape from anywhere else. Also, you can reuse the contact paper over and over so you don't waste as much too! Love your DIY's!!!
Beautiful! Definitely gonna make this for my girls! Also, have you tried using the clear shelf liner from Dollar Tree as transfer paper? I have used it for years and love it! Plus it obviously saves me money.
Omg. I love the look of this! Do the crates say they are food safe? And where did you find food safe paint? None of my paint is safe for food contact 😞
This is a cute craft but none of the stuff is food safe. If you wrap the food individually then put them in the baskets like she said for longer storage it would be safe enough. Otherwise the paint will flake and leech into the food.
@@themakeupism , I agree. Bethany, I love you and your videos! As an early childhood professor, I encourage you to add a disclaimer at the beginning of the video that the items are not food safe. Many of your viewers may be moms who don’t know that toxins in the wood and the paint can cause brain damage or other adverse effects to nursing babies or children who consume the goodies. You may also want to let viewers know that contact paper isn’t food safe unless it’s the one line labeled food safe. Contact paper contains PVC. Sending love!
I had to search 7 DT’s before I found the stirring spoons! I live in the DFW area (Dallas/Fort Worth). I live in Forth worth and had to drive an hour to get them.
My favorite hot chocolate topping is def whipped cream! Growing up my dad would take us to a small diner and always got us hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream. I enjoy watching all of your videos!
Wow, Bethany! I love this entire set-up!!! I remember watching last year your Hot Cocoa Bar and loved it, but this one is amazing too, but contains more and saves space! Wishing you and your young family a wonderful Holiday season! Hugs~ Josie 🤗😘
Hi Bethany!! You should be proud. It came out sooooooo darling! Truly amazing. I would be proud too. I think Cooper is going to love his childhood so much! Thank you Bethany for the wonderful, creative, budget friendly ideas!
How sweet! Mrs. Claus approved! 😆👏. (That’s what I do at this time of the year, make sweets, enjoy hot cocoa bar and dress up as Mrs Claus!) Enjoy your baby, he will grow up so fast! My baby is now 11 and I don’t know when it happened! Nice of you to still share with us. You are a superwoman! Hang in there! Hugs😘
This was a terrific idea...very creative. This would also be cute for a popcorn bar (movie night if we ever can have get togethers again). The boxes could hold all the candy things or dried fruit things you like to put in pop corn. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas. Have a Blessed day. And a big thank you to hubby for watching the baby so you could finish your project...great Dad.
Really cute hot cocoa bar. Love all of the ingredients you added to it. The signs add to the whole vignette. TFS and have a wonderful rest of the week.
Wow, you shoukd be proud, Bethany. I am completely FLOORED! How your creative brain works - amazing. I hope to attempt a lighter version of this. But now I know what I can do what my DT pallets. Well done, 👏🏻 Bravo
