Just because someone is having a bad day doesn't excuse them for rude behavior.

Wow that girl is lucky everyone is so short of help that they can fire her. Causing drama and using that language as an employee in front of customers is a huge no no!! Most people would have been fired in the spot.

I always worry about you when I hear about a tornado or storm in Texas, I’m glad the house is ok.. I will tell a story, about a month ago in DT we have a cashier who is so rude and nasty to everyone, and she has been to me as well, I am very non confrontational person, but one day the cashier started yelling at me for putting a dollar on the conveyor belt while counting my change to give her, I had had it with her being rude to me, and I said something back to her, she started yelling at me, the manager in the back heard this, came to the front of the store, I told him how this cashier is mean, and nasty to everyone, and I wasnt going to have her speak to me a paying customer like this another day, she started yelling at me In front of him, he fired her on the spot, the whole store cheered, so I am responsible for someone getting fired, but boy did she deserve it… I have seen her treat senior customers so badly, the store is so much more pleasant to go to now,she had bad energy, she needed to be saged

2 employees fighting in front of customers! How unprofessional!! And over a stupid cup! Throw it away and forget about it!

I know some people don't get it. But Marie, I appreciate you for doing this in all these different places when you don't have too. I remember when you asked us if we would enjoy it, and I know I commented and said"HECK YEAH, WHAT FUN". So a huge thank you, when you don't have too. I think it is different and so much fun, especially for you and the job of showing us everything new and your likes!

There is NO EXCUSE for that employee to say and do what she did! You should report that story to the District Manager! I used to work for DT, so I know firsthand how some other employees AND CUSTOMERS can be and what kind of potty mouths they can have. ACTUALLY, it's honestly the main reason I left! Ooh, the stories I COULD TELL YOU!

I get DT employees don't get paid enough money, HOWEVER...some of them in my area, I am talking about my area not all...are so rude. I mean I didn;t force them to work there. Talking to co-workers like that is wrong. Respect your elders is what I would have said. Girl, when you showed the straw, that falls on the mom, LORD HAVE MERCY. lol

I haven’t been in a McDonald for YEARS but once probably 15 years ago I was in one and a manager was yelling at a little girl who looked maybe 15 for assuming the customer wanted a small instead of a Large and he just went from yelling at her to degrading her over such a stupid little mistake and I couldn’t keep my mouth shut I says SIR! sir your not gonna yell at her and degrade her like that over a simple mistake your not gonna treat her like that and he almost pooped his pants. I think bully’s don’t know what to do when someone confronts them.

There was a near deaf customer at my local DT. Instead of the cashier ending her personal conversation she just yelled at him where the calendars might be if any were left. He was getting upset and finally left. I saw him outside and he asked me where the calendars were because he couldn’t hear what they were yelling. He had been sick and was finally able to try to find a calendar. I do not shop that DT unless I really need a certain item. The rudeness of the DT employee was beyond acceptable. The elderly man just wanted a calendar.

My Dollar Tree employees are so great!! I know them by name and they have worked here a long time. Not to sound ageist, they are older and are tried and true ❤️. Dependable and friendly.

Omg! Love this crazy drama! \ Yesterday at my Dollar Tree the girl working there had her kid with her. The kid was running up and down the aisles. Knocking stuff off shelves and screaming. She was like 4 years old. The dollar tree lady finally caught up with her kid and beat her butt on the storage container aisle. The other customers standing near me were in shock. That kid was so bad and her Mom, no words. I’ve seen some awful kids in that store, but those two! Dollar Tree drama. Glad you guys survived the storms ok. I’m sure Micah was scared.

Hi Marie! Hope you are having a good trip! Hope you,Mikah,Loki are all doing well! I have had some horrible Dollar Tree drama,too,lol. I’m a very quiet person & always very polite even to strangers. It’s very hard for me to talk to them but I’m polite when I have to. I don’t like drama or making a scene or having anyone mad at me I get very scared & depressed over it. No one has to like me but just be polite to me & others in public at least. Anyways maybe 3 yrs ago at dollar tree this “Savannah” her tag said…just before Christmas was mad as hell at everyone for no reason at all! Especially me,lol,I was so scared…she just glared at me the whole 1/2 hour I was shopping there. I’m disabled with a cane for over a decade now & am embarrassed about it but still quiet & polite. Anyways I was in line & she was friendly to everyone else it seemed but still angry,too. So she got to me,just glared & said nothing & literally threw some of my breakable stuff in a bag unwrapped! I didn’t know what to do! I glared at her & left with my cart. The lady behind me ripped her a new one,lol. After the nice lady was like are you alright? I was still walking with my cart & cane to my car & actually crying because I didn’t know what was wrong with her or if it was me. I wasn’t bothering her or anyone or in anyone’s way & just try to say it’s them not me but it’s hard when you just have health issues,usually have to go out alone & just struggle & people are so mean and lot of times. I’m usually the one holding doors open for others while they just glare at me for some rude reason. Don’t get me started on the soccer moms in giant SUV’s going shopping running me off the road in my 20 yr old convertible playing Kiss trying to enjoy the nice weather,lol. People just have to be way more respectful & kind to others. Plus drive safely,too.

I only experienced one drama at the DT I shop at. Always at the DT/walmart stores. Why!!!

I think Dollar Tree has a shortage of workers at least where I go, and there is always merchandise in boxes in the aisles. One day a worker was opening boxes and I said…”it must be like Christmas opening all the boxes”. She looked at me and didn’t say a word just turned away like she was disgusted with me. Customer service is missing in a lot of businesses due to employees shortage, however, still no reason to be rude. Please be careful as some people on their last nerve you never know if they will snap. Eeek

I swear, rarely do I go into a DT where the staff are jelling well together! Thats what happens when someone is just bitter in life, they have to cut others down, I feel for the your cashier.

DT needs to put there supervisors though customer service training. I am really disappointed in DT’s in Colorado. I don’t even want to go there any more. There is a new one that opened across the street from my house and it is so empty all the time. No new stuff just their older stuff all the time. So disappointed.☹️

I went into my dollar tree in Baltimore Maryland and seen a box fan in 5 dollar section and it was on the shelf that said 5 dollars , so I take it up and she rings it up and she says 19.99 … I said what !!!! Yes she said 19.99 I told her take it off not worth it !!! So watch the prices everyone I knew they we’re gonna raise prices but they should put price on items if there not 1.25 … dollar tree is 5 below anymore unreal …… it’s a shame …..
