It's true so many Dollar Tree are under stocked or unorganized, but we as customers need to put stuff back and they need to hire employees to do reorganizing in a graveyard shift.
The very first time I visited a Dollar Tree it was in Detroit!! Lol !! It was in 1998 we did not have a dollar tree here in North Carolina and we visited Detroit and my friend took me to one and I was Amazed!!! It was cool... thanks for the video!!
Wow Vanessa, I'm in awe at that frozen section. If you had to go alone, you should have picked me up along the way, I've always wanted to go. I was able to go to Port Huron about a year ago ad I found yahoo chocolate drinking boxes, 3 to a pak. I bought ten of them. We went during the summer so it was too hot to bring ice cream home but I was drooling. We each bought two kinds we liked and ate them in the car and laughed at each other. Tfs, it was fun.
Hey Vanessa! Yes those pretzels are good especially with nacho cheese! those bolero products seem older than what my stores have been carrying here in southern California, I love all the bolero wipes, when I see a new scent I pick it up... I mean a dollar for 30 face wipes!! yes mam!!
You made me lol! I wish I could go to a Canadian dollar tree, I bet I’d see stuff we don’t have! That was fun, wish the store was a little neater for you
I think that the products in the US DTs vary from store to store, just as it does in Canada. Some of the candy you were saying you haven't seen in your stores Vanessa, I have seen in ours out west here, (And I am also like a kid in a 🍭🍬 store, so am always checking!) and that is just one example. Also, items like cortisone creams and those types of products, have different regulations between the countries. In Canada, some products can only be sold OTC, in stores that contain an actual pharmacy. I am looking forward to your haul video, and curious to see if anything was disallowed at the border!! 🤔
Vanessa, your reaction to the bubble gum in the candy isle made me smile and laugh as it is the same as mine when I see you pass by the coffee crisp candy bars in your stores😁. Brings back the best memories of visiting my grandma in alberta and my mom introducing me to some of her childhood treats and my favorite will always be the coffee crisp candy bar. Hope you enjoyed your trip and you will visit the USA again soon.
The Soft Whisper Body Wash stirs up a good lather and cleans very well. The Bolero Cucumber and Aloe wipes are cool and refreshing and takes off quite a bit of makeup and perfect for a refresher during the Summer months. I love the matching body oil..not that strong of a scent.
Nice to see you in USA, funny I thought you had a lot that didn't have, was kind of funny to see you were finding a lot of things in USA that you didn't have. Love watching your videos, tfs, hugs
A lot of great things at that DT I have not seen in any near me in the Kansas City area. Never knew they made root beer and orange twizzlers! I have never seen such a varied pharmacy section here.
Welcome to Michigan i work in retail Canadians come to shop all the time here for many of things from food &snacks to Target store beauty supply or thrift shops 🤗🇺🇸
Hi Vanessa glad you were able to visit a u.s.a store I’ve never noticed in your dt Canada store walk throughs that you don’t have the frozen aisle until you mentioned it. I’ve tried some of those frozen items and the majority of the items are not bad at all. Tfs
Hello from South Carolina! That was so much fun watching your surprise over some of the items you discovered! You were so cute! I love the Canadian DTs. Your stores have many things our stores do not. All of the U.S. DTs have that glass display case in the front of the store. Thank you for straightening up as you go.
That was fun, thanks. I'm from Arizona and we have such a variety of DT stores. Some small, not much good stuff, very disorganized. And some big, well stocked and very organized. Some with refrigerated and frozen foods and some not. You just never know what you'll experience when you walk into a DT. Glad you saw some different types of items you don't usually see. That was cool. Store was messy though, huh. I like how you straighten things up as you look. We all need to do better while shopping at DT.
Lol yes you can bring cleaning supplies back across the border to Canada 🇨🇦 I live on the Ontario/Michigan border in northern Ontario and many Canadians do all of their shopping in Michigan!
I live in Hamilton and have relatives in Welland. They tell me many of their neighbors go shopping in Niagara Falls, New York or in Buffalo for gas and groceries because gas is WAY cheaper then ours!
Yes girl! Hope your stay here is great. Not too great of a City to visit though lol! That was a super crappy store too. I thought being it's in Detroit it would be much bigger and, have newer things in it like we do on the other side of the state and in Indiana!!! Have a great time and, I hope you get to hit up more DT's before going home! Godspeed!
I love your style. It is so beautiful. Do you ever sell your DIY's or have you thought about doing flower pots for flower shops. Your work is so professional looking.
Welcome to the states , you’ll have to come farther south sometime.😂 I love Michigan, I have an uncle and aunt who live in Saline. I always wondered why you never filmed anything in y’all’s freezer section , now I know y’all don’t have one.
Our stores are such a mess compared to yours, especially here in TX. We have not half of the cool stuff y'all have and the shelves are either always bare, a mess or the boxes just in the aisle never stocked. I am so jealous!!
Man that store was a mess!! The display at the end was pretty dirty, it's sad when you go to the States and end up in stores like that. I am going down during the summer to visit my family and I'm hoping I can find some great things at Dollar Tree lol. I expect the stores to be about the same though, although I will be in smaller towns so maybe I'll get lucky!!!
Did you go across at Windsor? I loved Detr ol it in its heyday. Today not. The auto mfg. Were all around there. That pillow you picked up is what I made my muff from. I have to do for the 5 great granddaughters. I'm so glad you enjoyed that dollar tree. Have you never been in one in the states before?.
Comparing the two I'd say the Canadian stores are definitely cleaner and neater but that has a lot to do with the respectfulness of the customers toward the store. I've been in stores that are a wreck and ones well cared for. I notice the US has much of the same inventory as those in the Great White North. ( Bob & Doug.....where are you these days??? )
Welcome to our "amazing" dollar tree😂So you have things we don't and we have things you dont. However you rock when it comes to crafts, where it counts!👍👍😁Those are my favorite soap bars.
There is a new Dollar Tree in Lynwood, WA with a fully stocked craft area, the large Crafter’s Square one. It gets messy because they have a problem with shoplifters but it’s a great place to find new items. My daughter and I discovered it while I was visiting from Myrtle Beach...I stocked up and mailed stuff home!
Did you make a dollar tree haul of some of your must haves from our US store? I was also gonna ask if there were laws for customs at the border? I live in Michigan in the lake side across from Detroit and have never been to Canada. Crazy I know. I have heard you need a passport now to get into Canada?
1st time to ever comment although I've been watching you for quite a while. 1) a dollartree employee told me once that, day shift stocks and night shift is supposed to face the shelves. 2) Seems to me that their stores would look better if everyone would take the time to straighten up. Also I was talking to you through the screen, get the Awesome cleaner if you can't get it back home. LoL. TFS I actually saw stuff we don't have in the Midwest.
You should visit the Branson, MO DT store....LOL it's a joke. I'm surprised they're still open. They have plenty of food, storage containers, dishes, etc. but when it comes to crafts and seasonal decor....forget it.
Sandy my local DT sounds much like yours, a lot of staple items, containers, office supplies, greeting cards, but our seasonal section is small. We can never have more than one season going at a time, in the crafting videos I watch, not only are some of the DTs getting in Easter already, they are stocking for summer. Mine still has only Valentines, in the fall, if back-to-school is out, fall items can't be, not enough room. An DT employee told me at Christmas, my local store only gets 40% of the Christmas stock available to the stores, so that pretty much sums it up!
Dollar Tree originated in America and hasn’t been in Canada that long. Our city got one maybe 5 years ago. It is not as good as dollarama but then again your bill ends up being $25 instead of $125 lol. I usually go to dollar tree first to see if they have what I need and then go to Dollarama if they don’t! I have some Canadian dollar tree stuff on my channel as well if you would like to check it out.
The dollar trees in Independence, Missouri are all awful. They are never stocked and it’s always messy. It’s hard to find anything I’m ever looking for.
Tavares not all Dollar Trees in Canada are like the ones Vanessa visits, our stock varies as well. She lives in the east, I live in the west, and quite often she hauls items we never see out here. My understanding is that in Canada at least, it has a lot to do with the size of the store, we have no Crafters Squares in the DTs here, the square footage of the stores are too small.
Your voice is extremely soothing and I know your channel is not asmr focused, however, I cannot play it for my sleep because you have abrupt ads played throughout it. :/
