The nursing home residents are blessed to have you as a care giver!! Your heart is beautiful. Love hearing about the funny situations at work! Sometimes people have the most unexpected and hilarious reactions to things!!
Your energy blows me away and I always enjoy it when you talk about your job with the seniors and you have so much insight into their conditions and I’m sure you always bring a smile to their face
I was a CNA for many years before going to nursing school, it is very hard work and CNAs don’t get enough credit for all y’all do. So thank you for what you do. The reaidents make all worth it.
Wow! Bless your heart. I never knew your occupation. Then to hear you work as a CNA at a nursing home. May God bless your efforts. Nursing homes are hard work. So thankful they gave you. ❤ You Mrs. Stephanie
Stephanie you don’t toot your own horn, so let me do it for you. You should be so proud of yourself and all that you’ve accomplished in your life. Your mother would be proud that you have the opportunity to take care of the elderly. You may be tired but you deserve to be tired. Working two jobs and raising a family is not easy, but you’re doing it. You’ve earned your CNA certificate and are privileged to have that career, as a back up to your full time job. Be proud of yourself…you are WORTHY, so don’t ever feel the need to explain your life to others. Keep doing you. You got this!!!! ❤
Love to hear you tell the funny stories from your nursing work. My mother was in an assisted living facility for a few months before she passed away, and I so appreciated the CNA’s that took care of her. I am sure you are a blessing to those residents. I salute you for doing that work in addition to your full-time job. Hope you have a restful night and a good Sunday❤
Girl you are an absolute angel you are kind and sweet and if I was ever in a nursing home I would pray that there was someone just like you there to take care of me! God bless you ❤
I love to hear about the patients. I’ve had three grandparents in nursing homes and very few homes are good to the patients. I just found out my sister has Alz - she will be 55 in Feb. She has advanced stage so there isn’t alot to do for her. She may end up in a home. She’s living w her daughter who is pregnant and due in June. That won’t be optimal going forward. I wish she had someone like you to be there for her. I worked in a home and it was a gorgeous home and I worked in the dining room. I knew what they ate and what they drank for what meal. They were a hoot. I love the stories. Keep smiling for you and them.
God Bless you Stephanie! Your thoughts about the nursing home and some dementia patients was uplifting to me! Thank you...the essence of the person remains regardless of the condition! LOVE Hope I catch your live video 🥰❤❤
Oh my goodness I loved you talking about the nursing home. You are God sent to these people. I just recently put my mother in a nursing home. She was with me for 6 yrs 3 months. Every day when I get off from work I go to be with her until they close the doors for the evening. Thank you!
Hi I'm from Iowa that why I like to watch your videos because I use to do what you do now I was a CNA for over 25 years.so keep going girl you are a blessed it takes a special person to do what you do.
We have multiple family members who are CNAs. Thank you for your care. It is definitely NOT an easy career. And CNAs took care of my mother when I no longer could. They were excellent in her care!! Love your upbeat attitude, thank you again and thanks for sharing ❤
My mom just died this past November, 2 days before my birthday of dementia. You are a special person, handpicked from God to serve these people in need at the nursing home. It DOES take a special kind of person to serve in this capacity. You do all that and take care of your children and animals. People should look at you as an example. All I ever hear from people are excuses. You have plenty of things you could use as excuses but you STILL choose to serve. There is a special place in heaven for you sweetie. Tfs. This was a wonderful way to begin my Sunday. My heart is full and I have a positive outlook on my day. Have a wonderful day.❤️🤗
Hi Stephanie :) What a beautiful chat tonight! You are a very special person and your kindness and caring ways t Really shone through tonight. You look so cute in ur scrubs and fit as a fiddle I might add:). Love ur new Barbie outfit. Those people you care for are so blessed to have you Our Dear Lord can see ur compassion and you will be rewarded 10 fold for ur kindness, You really are a sweet girl. Sleep in and rest tomorrow when you can😊🤗❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Juliexo
I didn't know T.J.MAXX had stuff like that! I'm giving you money to make a Dollar Tree haul for me!! And you're the ght, a CNA is never done can't rest! I know I've been one! Love it when you are here! And that person you worked with that Saturday you were back here doesn't do talking like you do!
I just want to say thank you so much. I just started my RU-vid channel about 3 weeks ago and you were one of my first subscribers ❤❤ God bless you and your beautiful family 🙏
ps...no coincidence that you were talking about having a specific type of heart and you were wearing a heart necklace ❤❤❤❤❤❤There are angels on earth and you are one of them💕
Great video sweetie. My mother in law had dementia. She had a rap sheet at the nursing home. She was a little lady, but sure could raise cane. It was especially bad when the sun went down, Sundowners. She was 85 when she died. You just didn’t know what she was going to do or say. 💕
I think your "extra energy" is called a second wind. God bless you girl for having compassion for the elderly. I'm so sorry they didn't treat your mama right. I would have been up at that nurses station too giving them what for! I live next door to a nurse who's a supervisor and she's hardly home. Well, get some good rest honey. ❤
Girl I’ve been a CNA for 20 years I’m 42 i recently took on child care for my grandson when my nursing and rehab center shut down but that kind of work ain’t for many you get worn down emotionally physically mentally it’s a crazy job that no one understands except the aids that really do there jobs. God bless you for doing what you do ❤👏👏👏🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼when we say we do everything for them residents we mean EVERYTHING in life and when they pass we still gotta take care of the body. You have to take time for yourself to do that job and just like you I always felt so good about what I got out of it at the end of the day but you gotta be built for that for sure. Im kinda new to you but I’m loving your channel you do all the hauls that I love and you ain’t afraid to eat so I love it 😂😂🙌🏼🙌🏼
Stephanie, we should all be so thankful to have someone like you in our lives when we become frail and vulnerable. I know you were tired, but you were lit up like a Christmas tree when you were recalling your day at work.
I know what you mean. I worked in a nursing home for 17 1/2 years. The things I think about, and just start laughing out of the blue. It's hard work for sure. It can be rewarding all the same. You love them like they're your own.
My daughter is a CNA Nurse Tech at a hospital and Yes Ma'am the stories and situations make her laugh or hide in a closet momentarily to gather her thoughts lol 🤣
I love your heart,, I was a CNA until 3 back surgeries in 13 months took me out ,,I was an aid before lifts was used & lift people heavier than me was what caused my back issues ,,I loved my job & my little ol people ,,yes they can be funny ,sassy & violent . You are so dead on right it takes a loving & compassionate person to be a good aid. Yo me it was one of the best most rewarding jobs I ever had & yes a good co-worker on the hall makes a good day wonderful. I'm so glad those elderly folks has you from time to time. A good caregiver that will laugh & bring joy to them makes thier lives sooooo much better. Thank you for being one of those wonderful people & for all your videos I love watching your channel ❤😊
Your videos always make me smile❤ I loved hearing about your job at the nursing home. This happened rather quickly but my mom has recently been admitted with dementia and she is alone. She lives in Florida and I live in Maryland. I worry about her every single day and wonder how the staff is with her. I trust and hope that they are taking care of her. I can only take their word. I appreciate your comments on dementia, the stories you said about your own mom, and your words about their personality shining through❤. The patients you work with are so very lucky to have you care for them. I hope my mom's nurses are as caring as you are. I also love your videos and your chats. You have an amazing personality. Stay cool! -Cindy
30 years ago I too worked as a Nurse's Aid in an old folks home. I have many fond memories of my time there helping those gentle people. I am still laughing at the story of the horse and the panties. Those elderly folks are blessed to have you as their caretaker.
Hey Stephanie I enjoy hearing about your day and your stories. I used to volunteer at a nursing home with arts & crafts, bingo, and I joined lunch with them, it was amazing what the patients used to be and where they worked. It was sad that some not have a family to see them. Your patients are blessed to have you you're family to them. You have a big heart. Your Mama is smiling down at you. . Vicki
Nice haul. But beautiful words about the people you work with. O sat with older people as a young teen with my Momma. I always liked older people sometimes better than young. This prepared me to be a long rime caregiver to my Mom who became bedridden not easy job had help but never easy. We need to appreciate our elderly people and respect them I always have. I will soon be 60 an single not in best shape think about where I will end up. Have boys not girls so it is ??. Never wanted my parents to end up in a facility but my dad did not my choice. Thanks for taking care of them much respect to you. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. I watch on tv so dont always comment but had to today.
You know Stephanie I like listening to you I’m 72 years old and I don’t have anybody watching over me how to do everything on my own my sisters don’t even want to help me out anymore and it’s true but everything you say
I love the Barbie pink items, too. That’s a cute two-piece set you got and at a really great price! (I’m a blonde, too.) I know what you mean by being so tired that you’re just running on empty. I hope you can get rested up tonight. ❤ You look great for all you have done today.
That’s SO funny Stephanie!! 😂🤣. I would have cracked up too! Those folks in nursing homes can be such blessings & as you described laughter for us too!! You have a special job that is so rewarding huh?! Bless your heart! I’m sure those people look forward to your help & company! You deserve the neat things from TJ Maxx! 😁👍. And yep! Let me applaud you my dear for all you do for so many & being such a great loving momma to your kids! 👏👏👏👏👏👏. You have a restful nite! You’re in my prayers! Love you! Deb.
Will you sing sometime. ? I use to work 3 jobs, no days off. My main job was for several doctors, then weekends at a country club and several nights throughout the week at the mall. I ended up in the hospital eventually. I feel ya!
I agree with you on the care giving. It's a gift from God. And strong will to be able to be one. You definitely have a gift. A lot of those poor folk are just so lonely. I love how you have so much care for your patients. Girl if you sing, they love to hear people sing. I know they would love it!
Your so right it takes a special type of person to take care of those that can’t take care of themselves. Thank god for caregivers like you with nurturing, caring and understanding c hearts. Thank you for sharing your heartwarming stories of those you help take care of. 😊
Watched your video and I truly enjoyed your view of people in the health care field. The Nursing Home Faculties need more people like you. You have a kind ❤ and it shows you really care about others. I have seen people that worked in a few Nursing Homes that differently didn't belong working there because they were there just for a pay check and could care less about the people in their care. It sad that they are put there and forgotten and see no family or friends visit them. You are a very special person ❤️ with a big heart.
god bless u for all you do at your job. i only see my hospice nurse once per week, if that, but she was the first person i started buying for at xmas time. i appreciate ppl like u!
You are special .I wish everyone doing the work u do was like u . My mom was in a in living center before I lost her and I made friends with so many people didn't have family . keep your good work my dear more and more blessings with come your way . love to hear those testimonys .God bless u.
