In today’s video, I show you how I made beautiful home decor using inexpensive canning lids and wire nets from the Dollar Tree. I hope you enjoy the video! 💕

Can you show how to cover a brick fireplace using wall paper or peel and stick tile. Help it is a rental property so nothing permanent

That’s a tough one. The big biggest issue is the fact that nothing really sticks to brick very well. I don’t have a brick fireplace to demonstrate for you, but I would probably use some thin plywood to cover it up completely and then add the wallpaper or peel and stick to that instead. Good luck!

@DazzlingDesignsByDenise thanks for responding it the fact is a rental and the fireplace is so big and ugly and take up huge wall space. Can plywood be remove? Or I try and use hot glue for the peel stick tile at least that way I can remove without damage. Wish I can send you a picture maybe you can give me some ideas. It soooo ugly

No, you would use the plywood to build something that surrounds the fireplace and hides it entirely. Or you can use something as simple as foam board. Tape together several pieces (cut it to the exact size of the fireplace) and place it in front of the fireplace then add your wallpaper to the foam board. I hope that makes sense. I don’t know how large the fireplace is but it sounds like you should consider hiding it versus trying to hot glue anything to it. Good luck 😊

I think it looks very good. It looks good without the gems. The gems would be more if your whole living room was like diamond and jeweled up then you would do that.
