I am so happy you did this one for your friend I new she would love it now we have another fan and a member of the family welcome to Vasc Nation have her subscribe to Dan he just reached a milestone at 1 million subscribers and Ratt back for more is a awesome cover and his O holy night is a must Amazing Grace with he has 12 million views now so he has 245 covers and every song is epic he sings opera as well he is a master at it

There isn't anything he can't sing .. classics, opera, metal! I'm an 82 yr old lady who was never fond of metal, but after hearing him sing Amazing Grace, I'm addicted to him. Check out Angels We Have Heard on High (in 4 languages), O Holy Night, Nessun Dorma .. so much more. Enjoyed your reaction

Dan can do whatever he wants with a song! Excellent reaction! Also, Dan plays just a bit of guitar. When music credits aren’t given, it means he most likely used midi on them. Gabriel Belozi is a childhood friend and a member of their band Fearless and plays guitar. The band is rounded out by Davi Vasc, Dan’s little brother, who plays bass and makes his living writing music for video games, and Gio on drums (I’m totally blanking on his last name right now!🤦‍♂️). Their original album, Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom, is absolutely amazing, as is their cover of Dawn Of Victory, with the great Fabio Lione himself. In that collaboration, Fabio is actually in Dan’s garage studio; in most other collabs, the parts are done separately, especially the ones with Victor, who lives in Sweden. Please 🙏 keep up the great Dan reactions!

Celine Dion is a fabulous singer, but the song was so overplayed on the radio that I still cringe when I hear it. My only complaint about Dan's version is that it's too short. I want it to go on and on...

It's fun to see your guest discover Dan Vasc for the first time. He does play guitar but says he only does it when the piece is an easy one or he's in a hurry. And of course, he plays the harmonica. Garrett is from California.

Loved watching both of your surprise reactions to this song. Dan remade this song in a way nobody else can. I agree with another comment that the only thing I wish was different was it's length. I just wish it could go on and on! I've listened countless times and it never gets old.

Please consider doing the musical theater piece Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar. It’s an incredible singing and acting job. I think so, too. I think the MIDI track Dan must have used (because he doesn't mention a live drummer in the credits) is a recording done by Giovanni (Gio) Rezende (the FEARLESS drummer). The track sounds quite similar to what Gio did for the "Dawn of Victory" recording (he was live in that one, which was fantastic).

I think Dan knows Garret from Orion’s Reign and worked with him back when he fronted the band for a while. Dan does some epic collabs with Orion’s Reign and Minnniva. You can find them on their channel. This was a fun reaction and did they ever give that old song a facelift :-) I think that with this song the iceberg would have melted before the ship hit it

Yes! I absolutely WAS! I'd been following what he had said on Instagram not long before the song was released. On the reel he posted on January 18, 2024 (that featured the mixing he was doing for this song), Dan said, "We'll put some hair on Celine Dion's chest. SOON." I had also listened to what he was saying about it, on several podcasts. I fully expected it to be FULLY EPIC and VERY much like this, because...DAN! 😀

This version of the song is 112 years late...if it had been out before the Titanic sank, Jack might have been energized enough to swim that door to shore...Ace, I am not 100 percent positive, but I think Dan uses software to create the backing tracks. I suspect from other examples of his work that if he had been playing the drums, video would have been incorportated into the finished product.
