Here are all the possible chases in the Hellgate on the Dollhouse DLC of Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion HD Renovation. Unlike the OG Version, EM Spec.4 is not available in the selection of Specimens that can chase you through the Hellgate. Instead we have Spec.11. The reasons why EM Spec.4 has been replaced in this version are fairly obvious, given all the improvements she's had.

At first I wasn't sure about the food demon being one of these hellgate antags given in the og game his game play has never been his strength. But they make it work here, not knowing where to find the doors while being terrified where he'll pop out from is really great.

Ringu was replaced by beef demon because hellgate ringu's jumpscare was disgusting and disturbing You get to see an inside of her stomach

I think Story Mode should have those meats hanging in the hallways, and the doors should be invisible forever while he's here, but keep him as he is in Endless Mode as he's quite fast and dangerous if you hit him with the axe.

This is the only bit of the entire game where I died. Twice to Deer God, once to Ben. Got Deer God on the third time, though, kept going because I love that fucker.

Kind of wish Specimen 8 also had deer minions as base kit in OG game with new teleporting walls powers too to make him even more threatening and memorable

Specimen 11 is the easiest. I kept dying to specimen 8 due to the deers that i dont notice only got him once. The puppet is kinda easy once you learn it.

Imo, Spec.8 isn't that hard, even with the deers. But I can understand some people has trouble with him.

I still don't like they got rid of ringu and why is Ben the merchant here ? Let's see you have, meat demon, deer god, what could of been ringu the urban legend ghost girl, and then you have Ben the merchant a guy who fell in a river why is he here to close the portal to hell but just my opinion

I feel both Ringu and Ben wouldn't fit considering their spirits that had to be human at some point (Ben obviously) Bab I feel like should've been the 3rd, it was the leader of a cult so that makes it fit with demonic entities like food demon and deer lord

@MrSatan-rn6bb I'm guessing they did that bc Specimen 6 and 8 are fan favorites, no idea why Specimen 11 is here as he's completely lame in Story Mode, all he does is make doors disappear 5% of the time and they re-appear. Specimen 5 also does that unfortunately her hallucinations disappear after some time.

I forget, do you have to do all three of them? Because the game system breaks after you use it, do you have to come back later?

To get the good ending, you only need to do the Hellgate sequence once. For the video, I just restarted my savegame so I could do all the chases.

Guys whenever I try to do the hellgate thing nothing happens, I’m stuck in the room nowhere to go with no specimens popping up Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong or how to fix this

i swear specimen 8 the deer god is rigged he’s so much faster in the hell gate one and sometimes he spawns where the door i need to get to is with the fact there’s no healing either and it lasts forever specimen 8 is the hardest for me

I don't find Deer Lord is very hard in the hellgate sequence. To be honest, all the hellgate chases are pretty easy for me. But I can understand some people had struggle with Spec.8. Also, the hellgate chases lasts for 20-25 rooms, so that's why it's take longer to make the chase.
