The doll’s child was alone at home and played with matches and a candle, the staircase caught fire and the dollhouse burned down. The doll child did run away and is safe.
Well I assume a real house needs more than 3 minutes, at least from the beginning of lighting the match, I think in miniumum 10 minutes for the fire to develop, even you wouldn't see a lot. And the dollhouse has relatively thick massive wooden walls. American houses usually don't have massive walls and their in relation weak structure together with lot of plastics burns fast.
Depends on the place. Usually I use some water from a nearby river. At official camp fire places there is often a place or bin to collect and leave hot ashes.

To see how fast a fire can progress through the wooden structure of a house; it starts out as a small flicker but then, if left untreated, as time passes by, the flicker will grow to that satisfying-size fire that you expect to watch.
