I love Dolly Parton she is amazing and so beautiful and precious love her music I idolize her I got to see her before her show's she was so sweet and funny!! I was there in the front row she was so awesome!!
I know one of the singers is Jennifer O'Brien. I don't know the name of the second but I do know that both of them have been singing with Dolly for years. Richard Dennison also does among many things (playing etc) back up vocals. He was with her from almost the very beginning and is married to her sister Rachael. He does Islands in the stream with her. What I have notice with Dolly, is that she has held on to people for years, I mean more than thirty, even forty. If she has taken seperate path, it has usually been amicable and she reunites with them in later albums. The loyalty of her band, bands, back up singers has helped her give a very polished performance. They understand each other perfectly.

Let's get something straight, coming from a singer. This is not lipsynched, with Dolly's experience, there's no need for her to lipsync, she has said herself that the day she needs to start lipsynching is the day she will have to retire. And it is NOT the exact same as the recorded version, there is a few times in the live version where she goes flat or sharp; which she does not do in the recording.
spme artists are smart enough to record a version that's made for performing "live" on the road, yet they are pre-recorded versions of the song which they lipsynch to..What's that mouthharp doin there as if she is playing it herself anyway?

You don't even notice it until she's ridiculous, playin' every solo instrumental up to & including an electric guitar solo, unplugged! Gotta love that Dolly and y'all come back ya hear! @@MrDLOC11 don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of her and I admire her, that doesn’t mean I can’t have my doubts about this video. The harp isn’t live, I can see that, and I do doubt the singing is live too. It’s not like she never lipsynced, because she has done it before mainly at the end of concerts from what I’ve heard. Very talented lady indeed, that doesn’t mean at her age she can’t do it a little different these days. And that’s what I am seeing. I’m not saying she can’t sing or play the harmonica, I’m just thinking she isn’t doing either here.
I am slightly obsessed with this song right now! Written by Bob Dylan, I had previously heard Waylon Jennings & Elvis sing it. I also love this, Dolly's version from her new "Blue Smoke" album. We saw her sing it live this week too in Cardiff, which I am still so thrilled about! I just love her female interpretation of the song! Her backing singers Jennifer & Vickie accompany Dolly's voice beautifully. Thanks for sharing this, such great sound & quality!

I am very familiar with the recording and I really don't this is a lip sync ! I think someone with her experience will be a very polished live performer.
All 3 are lip syncing , enlarge the screen and watch their mouths closely. Especially the lady with black hair , she over exaggerates her mouth and messes up on words. Look here at the 1:55 to 1:57 mark and watch closely
