Over $1,250 USD Donated To Limerick, Ireland Charities In Honor Of Dolores O'Riordan Today
On January 15th, 2018, Dolores O'Riordan suddenly passed away. Mother, daughter, sister and friend, Dolores meant many things to many people. As a singer and songwriter, Dolores brought joy to millions of fans. She was also a regular person, who faced many of the same struggles as regular, everyday people. In recent years, she publicly spoke about her battle with mental illness and also wrote songs to inspire hope in others. Cranberries Music Video Edits & Cranberries Library would like to continue the message of hope. At the beginning of 2020, Cranberries Music Video Edits & Library started a go fund me account for a charity fundraiser to benefit The Limerick Mental Health Association, located in Dolores' hometown. Cranberries Music Video Edits & Library's triple matched every dollar raised from fan contributions.
Special thanks to all who donated, including Cristóbal Gento, Christine Depont, Tony Molloy, Thierry lasfargue , Jennifer Bright, and Several Anonymous Donors. Between fan contributions and CranberriesLibrary.com & Cranberries Music Video Edits' match, we were able to donate over $1,000 to The Limerick Mental Health Association in Dolores' honor.
Separately, Cranberries Library & Music Video Edits has made an additional donation to #italialoveslimerick, a project by Cranberries Italia in collaboration with LearningHubLimerick in Ireland.
Thanks again to all who participated!
