Taylor was very special to her (you can't listen to You and me without drawing that conclusion). I truly believe he was the main reason she didn't wind up in the 27 club. We were blessed that she lived as long as she did. The again she might have been pregnant with Molly when she was 27. She wanted to live for her children. You and me was her way of telling Taylor they would always be together in each others' hearts no matter how far away they were from each other physically. They would've recorded some duets but Taylor got a sore throat two weeks before Dolores passed. In spite of the sadness she endured her children brought her joy.
She was such a romantic. She is so angelic .. I remember feeling this way. This wee lass was so human - her demons were many - her voice was pure and earnest
