#barbschmidt I have been here and are going here in under a week. The dolphins have a 15 acre tank to swim in and are not forced to participate in these activities. They also are not "hand fed" fish are released into their reef or large tank for them to catch so they are not helpless they are treated well here so before you stupidly comment said link actually watch the video or go to Atlantis paradise island bahamas
ric O Barry is an animal rights extremist who care more what he think is best than what best for dolphins. In 1990s he dump two captive dolphin who had no skills to survive into the wild. one dolphin end up begging for food and the other bad injured. a lot these dolphins where born in captivity. there not need to capture dolphins in wild if you can breed them. Some of them being through hurricane Katrina and found again by trainers.
Do your research first, watch the documentary The Cove then talk!! What's best is for them NOT to swim in pools no matter what size, but to be free in the Ocean, their home. If Atlantis really wanted to safe these dolphins, they would be in a sea pen where they are rehabilitated and have an opportunity to one day be free again in the ocean.
