Dolton mayor UNDER FIRE at budget meeting in Thornton Township 

That one guy saying you're a public servant you serve us...he hit the nail on the head and a lot politicians seem to have forgotten that simple statement.

She should be suspended until the FBI has finished their preliminary investigation and release their findings. She should not be permitted to continue making decisions about money.

Shouldn’t let this mayor finish her time at all… she needs to be removed now…

So let me get this straight. Tiffany Henyard is the mayor in one city and the supervisor in another. Looks to be equally incompetent in both jobs.

People are asking the wrong questions: how many properties does Henyard currently own, how did she acquire them, with whose funds, when? She has a number of previously pwned properties: how did she purchase them, when, with whose money and how much did she make when selling those properties? This is all public information so she can attempt to sue you for exposing her. This goes wayyyyy deeper than you think!!! I'm wondering if the FBI is investigating this as well. Red bottom shoes to a median income community meeting??? This is what a non thinking, uncaring person would do. Look at her in totality and not just the BMW she bought for her boyfriend, allegedly, the paving of her mother's driveway!!!, the Tahoe. If she paid exorbitant interest on vehicles, her credit is questionable, how on earth does she own two properties and sold about six? It does not add up.. Aim higher and stop arguing over the petty BS. Her ignorance, stupidity and harsh words toward her constituents and shallowness won't change. Go to her pocketbook where it hurts the most. This is not emotional, it's your lives and livelihood you're defending. She's nothing. Money and power are her drivers so hit her here. Does she really live in Dolton or any municipality she governs? She's a very bad apple. It's not the fact the property taxes are going up but how are those dollars being spent. She's a piece of work and needs to be stopped. Anyway, these are my thoughts,

The budget was approved because they were out of time. Do you understand now why she cancelled the meeting last Tuesday and postponed it to Friday, May 31st, the very last day to approve a budget?

If you're being investigated by the FBI for fraud, there's no way you should be able to go anywhere near a city budget. If a cashier is suspected of stealing they get taken off the register.

Once that is approved, then another set of signatures are required to call for recall of the mayor or any elected officials. God, they make it so hard for the citizen to oust the mayor, even the Governor!
